Michaela is the happiest ball of sunshine you will ever meet! You can find her out in her kayak in her spare time living her best outdoorsy life and soaking up the sun with a good book! Michaela is the first person I met at UTD, during freshman orientation (she often reminds me that I technically met her before Andrew) and she very quickly became my best friend for life! Whether its a quick phone call for some top tier advice, a shopping day where she is my voice of reason, a greys anatomy marathon, or all three in one day, Michaela is one of the most loyal, kind and selfless friends I could ever ask for!
Aaron Lowrey

Aaron and I met in middle school in the cello section of the school orchestra. I always saw him as a rival, even though he was definitely better than me at playing the cello. Our friendship grew in high school as we always ate lunch together and had multiple classes together. In college is when our friendship truly became great. Even though we went to two different universities in two different cities, we kept in contact and made the effort to drive to each other's apartments to hang out and have a good time. Aaron is someone that I always can rely on for advice or opinions, whether it be for a movie, video game, or life decision. I really do value this friendship and I am excited to celebrate this important day of my life with Aaron at my side!
Lauryn Stokes

One of my first memories of Lauryn and I's friendship was her coming over after school and us working on homework or listening to music and playing pool in middle school. That was a good describer of a lot of our early years of friendship! We spent endless days together with Sophia, listening to music, playing our own version of pool (which we thought we good at until we played Andrew and realized we were not the pool prodigies we thought we were) and marathoning movies and all the best teen dramas! Lauryn has impeccable taste in music and is one of the most laid-back and caring people I know. I am so lucky to have her as a friend/sister all these years!
Dylan Petrey

Dylan is one of my oldest friends I have, as we became friends in fourth grade and have been inseparable since. We pretty much grew up together, from hanging out at each others houses during summer break to late night video game sessions, we did everything together. We were even roommates in college for three years and our friendship is still very strong, so that should show you how much Dylan means to me as a friend.
Sophia Lopez

There are not enough words to adequately describe my friendship with Sophia! She is my best friend and sister all wrapped into one tiny, coffee addicted, genius. She is the most authentic and sweetest person I know. A fun fact about Sophia, she knows ALOT about ALOT. If you ever need recommendations/impressive knowledge on 1) wine 2) books 3) TV shows & movies 4) obscure baseball facts or many other things, Sophia is a go-to! I am immensely grateful to have Sophia as a friend and I cannot wait to continue our movie marathons and wine nights for many many more years!

Jose and I started off as enemies when we met in middle school. We hated each other for reasons that really didn't make sense, like not liking the same video games. As we grew up, our friendship began to show itself in early high school and would continue to grow more and more. From going to the gym almost every day together, to playing Tekken Tag Tournament for hours, there will always be fun and laughter going on when Jose is around.
Alex Phelps

Alex is one of my oldest friends and one of the most thoughtful and genuine people that I know. She once said that "I think I cry laughing every time I see you" and she was very right in describing our friendship! She definitely made middle and high school , and life in general way, more fun with endless laughs and memories, (even though we often got told to stop talking in class, sorry mom). Alex is hilarious and adventurous and a million other wonderful things and it is truly an honor to be her friend!

I met Gabe at work and we immediately became friends. Every time we had down time, we would talk and joke around, sometimes when we weren't supposed to. My shifts with Gabe became something that I would look forward to every week, and that friendship has transcended the workplace and made a difference in my life.
