Our story would not have happened without UCLA. We bleed the bruin gold and blue which is why, after graduating, David felt compelled enough to attend events as an alumni. Sparks flew as 1800 tequila played 'cupid'. During their first date, Sandra left hungry after struggling to eat ramen with her [training] chopsticks. Weeks passed before there was a second date. He impressed her with a hidden burger spot in Downtown Los Angeles. Sandra is now a chopstick expert and the rest, is history.
It was a chilly Austin weekend when David and Sandra went to Texas to escape the New York winter and celebrate David's 31st birthday. They strutted down Dirty 6th street for bar hopping and even used Bird's electronic scooters while in Downtown (no injuries were acquired). During David's birthday they enjoyed the finest BBQ cuisine and proceeded to the W's hotel's rooftop bar to celebrate. Naturally, Sandra began to take a couple of 'candid' pictures for the #gram. After a couple of photos, David asked for one final picture. Sandra proceeded to reset the 10 second count down and raced back to sit down with just enough time to pose when David suddenly redirected her attention to his hands where a ring was resting. Will you marry me?
