When do I need to arrive in Santorini?

Answer

As the wedding is on Saturday 10th October, it would be best to arrive no later than Friday 9th.

What part of Santorini is best to stay in?

Answer

The wedding is taking place in the Megalochori area. Santorini is quite a small island so you can stay wherever you like.

What will the weather be and what do I wear?

Answer

The weather is likely to be around 20-25 degrees. We would like to request a “dress to impress” vibe, so get your glad rags on! We do however want to advise that it will be warm, so don’t wear anything that may feel uncomfortable. No trainers/sportswear on the wedding day please.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Whilst we love your little ones, we can only accommodate for children that are close in the wedding party. Please take this as an opportunity to have a child free night!

Is the whole day being held in the same place?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception will all be held at the same venue. No extra travel needed.

Are there any colours we should avoid wearing?

A kind request to not wear the colour light blue.

Is there a pre-wedding meet up?

Answer

We would like to invite you all to join us for an evening of drinks & mingling before the big day, in the nearby old town of Megalochori on Friday 9th October. Venue TBC.

Is there an after party the day after?

Answer

Yes, you are all invited to The Kirk’s pool party on Sunday 11th October. Bring your swimming costumes & floatees!

How far is the Santorini Airport from your wedding venue?

Answer

The airport is a 15 minute drive from our wedding venue.

How do I get around Santorini?

Answer

Depending on where you are staying, and how much you wish to travel, there are several different options, such as: - Car hire - Bikes/Buggy hire - Taxi and Uber (last time we visited, uber had a min charge which was high, but this could have changed in the past year)

How do I get to Santorini?

Answer

You can fly from all London airports to Santorini. If you are coming from Ireland, then Belfast and Dublin fly to Santorini. If you are coming from further afield, please let us know and we can help with your route.
