Travel Note
While there are many highly-walkable neighborhoods in St. Louis (including the areas around our wedding venue) our public transportation is unfortunately not great and it is easiest to get around in a car. The airport has plenty of rental options, and ride-share apps are a great option as well. There is a train into the city from the airport—the Metrolink—but unless you are staying right downtown you will likely still need to get an Uber or Lyft from the station to where you are staying.
Travel Note
You will most likely enjoy your stay the most if you rent a place to stay on something like AirBnB or Vrbo—most hotels are not that conveniently located and will require driving to basically anywhere. Search for "Cherokee Street," "Soulard," "Benton Park," or "Lafayette Square" and you will find a spot in a beautiful, charming, and walkable area close to all the weekend's activities!
Travel Note
If you prefer staying in a hotel, any of the hotels downtown (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriot, Hotel St. Louis, Last Hotel, Drury Plaza, etc.) are good options. For a funky and eccentric boutique spot, check out the Angad Arts Hotel in Grand Center!
