Sheridan Arnett

Maid of Honor

I have been friends with Sheridan since sixth grade. We became super close as stars on the volleyball team (B Team, sorry Sher) and then spent probably every day of high school together after that. After attending different universities and graduating as nurses, we worked together in many different emergency departments across the nation. People have started to ask if we are sisters and we have even become accustomed to answering to each other’s names at work. Sher's energy and enthusiasm for everything she does has made her the best lifelong companion and I aspire to be half as genuine and vivacious as she is!

Claire Cayet

Bridesmaid

I met Claire in 9th grade English class, which is ironic since Claire napped through the majority of it. Claire and Leslie along with Sheridan traveled the country working in several emergency departments and were roommates in 4 different cities. We’ve always shared a love for food which mostly consists of Claire choosing the restaurant & ordering (everything) from the menu, and Leslie enjoying whatever crazy food Claire has picked out. I know I'm always going to have a good time if Claire is around.

Ashley Stokowski

Bridesmaid

I met Ashley sophomore year of college when we moved into the Pi Phi house and quickly realized we had the exact same class schedule for the semester. A lot of us thought Ashley was a little odd at first, but I grew to Iove her low-key, carefree attitude and we spent the next three years enjoying college together. All of my favorite college memories have Ashley right by my side and most recently we got to add “coworkers” to our list of friendship achievements. Ashley is one of the most reliable friends I've ever had and I couldn't be more lucky to have her as lifelong friend.

Ashton Browne

Bridesmaid

Ashton is my oldest friend and we were neighbors for most of our lives... we even lived across the street from one another in our sorority houses! We were originally polar opposites as children (if you haven't seen our childhood pictures, you gotta check them out) but have grown to be extremely similar in our adult lives. We both have a passion for making our beds every day. Ashton is more like family and our friendship extends to our moms who are equally as close as we are.

Stefanie Rivas

Bridesmaid

My friendship with Stefanie started as neighbors in the Pi Phi sorority house but it really grew when we attended OU nursing school together. Jamming in the car together on long drives to class, enduring long Sundays of studying at the lib, and taking long walks through our neighborhood in Norman are some of my favorites memories. Stefanie is such a happy go lucky girl and her enthusiasm for her friends, family, and traveling the world is contagious.

Libbie Wicks

Bridesmaid

Libbie was my "first friend" freshman year that I was fortunate enough to sit next to on Bid Day. I knew from the moment I met her that I wanted to be her best friend. She's one of the funniest people to be around and leads everyone around her to tears with her sense of humor and ability to make any situation laughable. I never would have felt so at home in Norman without Libbie by my side.

Haley Harrison

Bridesmaid

I think Haley wins the award for being my roommate for the longest amount of time! (Haley - I'm counting sophomore year as us being roommates too lol) I loved being around Haley 24/7 because of her goofy sense of humor and infectious laugh. Haley always knew the right things to say when I needed advice in college, and really became someone I knew I could trust and rely on.

Carson Wilson

Best Man

Carson is my big little brother. Being 13 years older than Carson, I try to be a good example for him to grow up and be the best man he can be. But that is pretty difficult to do when I literally have to look up to him, since he is 6 feet 5 inches tall. I'm so proud of Carson, he is such a great kid and the best little brother anyone could ask for. I could not have a better person to stand next to me on the best day of my life.

Clayton Giddens

Groomsman

Clayton and I have been friends since the beginning of college. Clayton was one of the first guys I met when I transferred to Commerce. I'm not going to lie, he was a little intimidating, since after all.. his nickname was "Man-Dime". I was a little intimidated being in the fraternity house and being around all the guys because I wasn't planning to rush a fraternity, but Clayton was there letting me know there was nothing to worry about. As time went by, I realized that he was just as goofy and laid back as I was and the rest is history. We even decided to live together after graduation and continued to live together for the next several years. From our love of bloody marys to our car ride concerts, our friendship will always be special.

Geoff Will

Groomsman

I have been best friends with Geoff since the 6th grade. Geoff is.... how can I put this... he's just Geoff. He has been in all the big parts of my life. From throwing me my first game-winning touchdown to some pretty hard breakups. Little did I know that being best friends with him came as a package deal. He and his family treat me like one of their own and I would do anything for them. We only lived two streets over from one another, so I felt like we pretty much lived together from us bouncing back and forth during infinite weekend sleepovers. Geoff is genuine. There it is, the word I was looking for! Very humbled to have him stand with me on my big day.

Tyler Minchew

Groomsman

Tyler and I have been best friends since the 6th grade. Tyler is a character.... he's one hilarious guy! He also lived very close and I swear us and Geoff were the three amigos. I remember he'd always call my house in middle school and all he'd say was "wanna play?", but it really meant "I have no clue what to do but let's hang out". It never was a bad time when we were together and even now with him living thousands of miles away, whenever we hang out it is like we saw each other yesterday. I will always cherish the friendship we've built.

Kyle Burton

Groomsman

Kyle is another of my friends since college. Kyle is probably the most sane one of the bunch. He's an old man at heart but always knows how to have a good time. I had the privilege to be in the same fraternity and recruit him to be apart of a brotherhood like no other. Kyle seemed quiet, but once he opened up I realized that we share some very similar interests like WWE and the Dallas Cowboys. He could talk for hours and hours about any of it! One of the things I appreciate most about our friendship is Kyle's reliability. I can count on Kyle's word no matter what it is, and that is a great quality in a friend.

Nick Jay

Groomsman

Nick and I were partners at Careflite for over two years and we have been friends since the beginning of my career. We always knew how to make the most of unfortunate situations, especially when our 24-hour shifts felt like they would never end. We share the same goal in our work career, and I was so proud of him to get a job with Denton Fire Department. His motivation drives me to do the same. To be partners means we have to have each others back, but even after Nick moved on to another job, our friendship never changed. We can still count on one another and always will be able to.

Tyler Ragsdale

Groomsman

Tyler Ragsdale (AKA "Rags") and I have been friends since college. Tyler is the kind of guy everyone looks for in a friend. But honestly, he is too smart for his own good lol. I had the privilege to recruit Tyler into our fraternity while I was in office as the Recruitment Chair and I definitely applaud myself for finding a good one. We always know how to make each other laugh which involves giving each other way too much crap. Despite all the fun we make of one another, I couldn't ask for a better friend.

Shea Shaw

Groomsman

Shea is another friend that I met in college. It was always an adventure when we got together and we were pretty much inseparable most of my college career. Not to give him a big head, but Shea is pretty much a legend in the town of Commerce... everyone knew who he was but I felt lucky to be able to get to know the real "Shaw". He is kind and genuinely cares about people and the greater good, but he definitely knows how to have a good time. Whether it's driving on campus with the windows down blaring Backstreet Boys or watching Gangs of New York a hundred times, our friendship is classic. If you are in need he will be there for you at the drop of a hat, which I think makes him a great police officer. I'm proud of Shea and the man he has become.

Malia Wilson

Flower Girl

Malia is Dakota's niece. I am excited to have the prettiest girl at the wedding (besides Leslie of course) lead the way with petals galore! She'll be leading the way in for her future Aunt Leslie and I can't wait to see her cute smile coming down the aisle!

Parker Brauckmann

Ring Bearer

Parker is one of the coolest guys Leslie met in college.... under the age of 1 year old that is. Leslie has been babysitting Parker since he was 5 months old and was practically adopted into his family. Parker and I have been on quite a few trips together and have shared some precious memories as Parker grew from an infant into the hilarious 7 year old he is now!
