Is this a wedding?

Answer

No, it's a celebration of marriage! We got married in October 2023, and now we want to properly celebrate with our loved ones. You can expect an "elevated cocktail hour" style event. There will be a few, brief formalities at the start, followed by an evening of eating, drinking, and socializing with old and new friends!

Best form of transportation?

Answer

For our out-of-town guests, renting a car is your best option. There are limited to no ride-share services (Uber/Lyft) specifically in Battle Creek. For those traveling from out of the country, you can also consider traveling by Amtrak (train), which stops directly in Battle Creek.

What should I wear?

Answer

"Dressy Casual" or "Garden Party" attire is preferred. For the ladies, think sundresses, jumpsuits, and summer sets. For the men, think dress pants or shorts and collared shirts. Note that most of the event space will be over grass.

Where should I park?

Answer

The celebration will be held at the Lesiow's home, which is located in a residential neighborhood. Depending on when you arrive, there may be a small walk required to reach the house. We encourage guests to carpool as much as possible to limit the total number of cars in the area. Most importantly, please be mindful of our neighbors' driveways and property.

Are children allowed?

We're happy with whatever is best for you. Your little ones are more than welcome to join you OR take this as an opportunity to have a parents' night off! If you DO plan to bring your child/children, please indicate that when you RSVP.

Most of the menu is gluten free, and each item will be clearly marked. If there are any other concerns, please text your dietary restriction(s) to Lenae or Scott, or note them when you RSVP!
