Question

Do we bring the kids?

Answer

Kids are welcome! But YOU are fully responsible for them throughout the weekend.

Question

Should I stay at camp?

Answer

We sure think so, you’ll be able to fully enjoy all camp has to offer and not have to worry about driving anywhere, but we understand the accomodations are not for everyone. What to expect if you do choose to stay: the basic cabins have 5 sets of bunk beds (single mattress) and 2 single beds. There is no heat or running water in them, but lights/electricity and easy access to bath houses with showers and hot water. The other lodging options have combination of single, double and queen beds. They have their own bathrooms and showers, some (most) have heat. If the forecast is looking like it’s going to be a chilly weekend we will look into getting heaters for even the basic cabins. Any questions about lodging feel free to reach out. We encourage you to stay! We will have lunch and breakfast available on Saturday!

Question

What the heck do I pack?

Answer

No matter what, pack LAYERS! It could be 70s during the day and 30s at night! If you plan to stay or participate in camp activities during the day: -Active wear, Sneakers, Sandals, Swim suit, Lounge wear for evening/camp fire, Flashlight/head lamp, Bath and beach towel, Sheets and/or sleeping bag, Pillow, Shower shoes, Camp chair (optional), Hair dryer (if you require such), toiletries (we will have plenty of options at our free canteen if you forget though!), sunscreen. If you just plan to attend the ceremony/reception then just need to bring a shall or jacket or something warm.

Question

Camp fancy, what?!

Answer

Imagine you’ve been out (or in) all day, enjoying what you like to do, then you take a shower, get cleaned up and put on some nice clothes. You clean up well, that ‘s basically camp fancy! Leave the tux at home, but feel free to wear a suit or just pants and a shirt ( no jeans please). Ladies, dresses, skirts, rompers etc. Most importantly dress for the weather, and consider appropriate foot wear. The terrain around camp is uneven and mostly soft. The ceremony will be outdoors while the reception will be inside. It is about a 7 minute walk from the ceremony to reception. We will have golf cart transportation if needed.

For all the days along the way
