If you have any other questions please contact the bride or groom Layla: (225)410-0326 Kylan: (225)461-6022
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by April 23, 2026 so we can finalize our guest count. Thank you for helping us plan our special day!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Garden Formal. We encourage guests to wear elegant, dressy attire that still feels comfortable for a garden setting think flowy dresses, floral prints, suits, or dress shirts with slacks. Soft colors like pink, blue, and green are especially welcome. Since parts of the celebration will be outdoors, we recommend choosing shoes that are easy to walk in.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, and we kindly ask that guests arrive at least 15 minutes early to be seated. If you’d like to make a day of it, you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Houmas House, tour the mansion, or grab food and drinks at the Carriage House Restaurant.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is abundant parking available in front of the Great River Road Museum and next to the Houmas House Gift Shop. The maps should take you right there!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered for gifts. Instead, we’ve chosen a more non-traditional route and created a honeymoon fund, as we’re blessed to already have everything we need to begin our life together. If you would still prefer to give a physical or sentimental gift, you’re more than welcome to do so. For ideas, please feel free to contact the bride’s mom, Megan, at (225) 620-2361 for a small list of suggestions.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several hotel options located along Highway 30 in Gonzales, conveniently across from Tanger Outlets Gonzales. For guests who prefer to stay onsite, the Inn at Houmas House is also available and offers a beautiful, convenient stay right on the grounds.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding be an adults only event. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
