We're getting married!

We first met in Walmart in Kingston the day before Thanksgiving 2019. Zac was last minute shopping with a mutual friend to get cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. Lauryn was with her friend Camryn doing some last minute Thanksgiving errands as well. Since these were friend's of Camryn's, when they ran into each other she made plans for them to all hang out. Lauryn had to work and didn't want to go. However, Camryn convinced her it would be fun . Immediately Zac and Lauryn's personalities clicked. Lauryn loved how funny and sweet Zac was. Zac loved how bubbly and silly Lauryn was. Although, we didn't start dating for another few months afterwards.

The night of what ended up being our first date was originally supposed to be a group event. Lauryn had planned a Disney movie night with her closest friends at the time, Camryn, Ryan, and Zac. She bought themed snacks and set up a cozy watching area. Camryn and Ryan both ended up not being able to go, leaving us on our own. It ended up being a really sweet night where we realized we did have feelings for each other. Whether Ryan and Camryn intentionally planned this is a mystery. But the rest is history!

Lauryn and Zac went to the beach to watch sunset. Zac told Lauryn he wanted to go for a walk to look at this pile of rocks in the distance. Lauryn reluctantly went with him to look at the rocks. On the way back, Lauryn started collecting hermit crabs and placing them in Zac's hands. Shortly after that, Zac started pulling Lauryn towards the engagement site that his cousins, Angelina and Tyler, had set up for Zac. Lauryn stared at it for a minute or two before she realized it was for her. Zac had to throw the hermit crabs out of his hands before he got down on one knee.
