Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park
Comprising 4,500 acres of rugged coastal canyons, open grassland, riparian woodland, views of the Santa Ana Mountains and Laguna Canyon, and sandstone caves, the park adjoins The Ranch at Laguna Beach and offers some of the best views and hiking to be found in Southern California.
Aliso Beach
8 min walk on the Beach Path from the hotel. The front desk will provide a golf cart shuttle. Grab a bite to eat at The Lost Pier Cafe and enjoy the beautiful beach views with your feet in the sand! We recommend going left or right away from the crowds!
Ben Brown's Golf Course
9-hole golf course on The Ranch property. The course is carved into the naturally dramatic and lush walls of Aliso and Wood Canyons, creating an ultra-private playing experience with stunning views and elevation changes on every fairway. This is not your stuffy country club experience—you're in Southern California now.
Carmelita's
Our favorite Mexican restaurant located in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach. Mom mom liked the french toast (I prefer the carnitas tacos).

Deck
Deck specializes in fresh seafood and creative cocktails served beachside with a smile. The Deck is one of the few Laguna Beach restaurants on the beach, offering a seaside restaurant experience in South Orange County. The Deck is run by the same local team as Driftwood Kitchen - enjoy an awesome meal or grab a drink and take in the awesome views!

Laid-back restaurant with craft beer and local vibes. Founded in 2014 out of a passion for craft beer by two Laguna Beach natives and childhood buddies seeking to bring the laid-back and local vibes of their home town to the beers they drink.

Salt Creek Beach
Take a drive over to world famous Salt Creek Beach, a small sandy beach with a rocky point frequently seen in surf magazines and videos. Our favorite place to grab a bite to eat after a morning at the beach with Doug. Great smoothies, acai bowls, and peanut butter banana toast. The Stand is a Laurie approved spot for a healthy snack or meal!
