Will there be transportation to the Venue?

Answer

Yes, buses will be picking up guests from the Omni and Draftsman hotels at 4:45pm on Saturday. Buses will leave for the venue promptly at 5pm. If you do not take the bus, Pippin Hill is a brief 15-20 minute rideshare or drive from downtown. Please note Rideshare apps tend to be scarce in Virginia wine country at night. Yes, we will have two buses taking guests from Pippin Hill to the Omni and Draftsman Hotels. The first bus will depart from the venue at 10pm, and the second bus will depart from the venue at midnight. Please note Rideshare apps tend to be scarce in Virginia wine country at night. What to wear?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Think dark suits and cocktail or long dresses. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, followed by dinner and dancing indoors. The weather during late April in Virginia can be surprising, so make sure to keep an eye on the forecast. For the Welcome Party, please wear cocktail attire. Men, coats are encouraged, but ties are not!

There is no scheduled after party, but don't let that stop you! Check out all that downtown Charlottesville's nightlife has to offer.

Will Pippin be open to the public during your wedding?

Answer

No! The grounds will be closed to the public starting at 4:30pm.

No. While we love children, this will be time for parents to enjoy a night off!

While masks are not required at the venue, we encourage attendees to abide by the most recent CDC guidance.
