We can not wait for you to celebrate with us! Our wedding will be held at Finest Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. This is an all inclusive resort, so the price you pay per night also includes all you can eat and drink while there (including alcohol!). Please book your room at Finest Punta Cana as soon as possible! Rooms are limited and it is first come first serve, so book right away to reserve your spot. You will be charged the full amount 30 days prior to arrival. There are 2 different areas of the resort. The "finest club" is the family friendly side, and the "excellence club" is the adults only area. Please keep in mind for the nicer sit down restaurants, there is a dress code: For Ladies: Long pants, Capri pants, skirt and blouse, dress. For Gentlemen: Long pants, dress shorts and dress shirt or polo shirt. Casual shoes or sandals must be worn. Once you book your room, you will receive a confirmation email with an option to set up airport transport. Round trip airport transport is free when using the booking code to book your room. For flights, the airport to fly into is Punta Cana International Airport. Check your passports! You will not be able to travel if your passport is within 6 months of expiring, so plan accordingly. If you need a new passport or passport renewal, please start this process ASAP as the US passport office is currently quite backed up and taking much longer than expected. Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, you will need a valid passport. If you don't have one or your passport has expired, we recommend applying for one as soon as possible as wait times are currently quite long.

When should I get there?

Answer

Though you can arrive the day before the wedding, getting there two days prior is safer, in case of any travel mishaps. Also, we will be having a welcome party the day before the wedding, so getting there on Tuesday is ideal!

How do I get to the resort from the airport?

Answer

As long as you use the discount code when you book, your transportation to and from the airport will be included. Your confirmation email should contain a link to be able to book the transportation once you have booked your air travel.

What should we wear for the ceremony?

Answer

The attire for the wedding and ceremony is tropical dressy casual. We encourage you to wear your favorite bright colors, tropical prints, and floral patterns. Please no black or white attire. Keep in mind it will be hot in Punta Cana, and weather permitting, the wedding and reception will be held outside. For Ladies: Long pants, Capri pants, skirt and blouse, dress. For Gentlemen: Long pants, dress shorts and dress shirt or polo shirt. Casual shoes or sandals must be worn. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts and beach sandals or flip flops are not allowed by the resort for sit down dining or the wedding or reception.

Do I have to pay for food or drinks?

No! Finest is all inclusive resort, so all your food, drinks, and alcohol are included in the price. You should however bring some cash for tipping waiters, barstaff etc. This also does not include additional services like the spa, etc.

Yes, please let the resort know if you have any dietary restrictions.

When should I RSVP by?

As soon as possible, but by December 1st at the latest. You will not be required to pay for stay until closer to the event but in order to secure a room (and the room of your choice), we recommend booking soon. RSVPing does NOT guarantee you will have a room. This also helps us get an accurate count of who will be going. We can not finalize the details of the wedding with the resort until the final head count is in.

When do I have to pay for my room?

Answer

Booking with the code means that you will reserve your room. Payment is not required until 30 days prior to your trip when you will be billed for the full amount. When booking, you will see a hold for $1 placed on your credit card. This action is a standard part of our security validation process with no charge to you, just be aware that you might receive a notification from your bank.

Excellence - this is the adults only section of the resort. There are also restaurants and bars that exclusive to these guests. Additionally, there is an adults only pool. Finest Club - comes with upgraded amenities/rooms and also has bars and restaurants that are exclusive to these guests. These rooms are available to adults and children.
