Wedding Shuttle to the Venue

July 5, 2019 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

The road to Ten Peaks is 4WD and there is no parking at the venue itself. We will provide a shuttle to and from the venue. There are two options on how to get to Ten Peaks: 1) Be picked up from the covered entrance of the Lodge at Mountaineer Square. 2) Ride the Red Lady Chairlift and be picked up at the top of the mountain. Please utilize the RSVP page to let us know if you plan to ride the chairlift as we will need a headcount in order to purchase lift tickets. We request that you be at the Lodge or on the chairlift no later than 4 PM as there will be no backup option if you miss the shuttle. Shuttles departing Ten Peaks begin at 9:00 PM. The final shuttle will depart at 11:15 PM.

Free Town Shuttle

The town of Mount Crested Butte provides free shuttles that run between the town and the resort every 15 minutes. The schedule and details can be found at the link below. http://www.mtnexp.org

Denver

Flying into DIA is the cheapest option but requires a 4.5 hour drive to get to Crested Butte.

Bus from Denver to Crested Butte

There is a bus that runs from the Denver Greyhound station to Gunnison for ~$40. Additional transportation would need to be combined to complete the trip to Crested Butte. Flight

Montrose

Flying into Montrose is the next cheapest option but requires a 1.5 hour drive east to Crested Butte. If you feel like adventuring, Montrose is 1.5 hours from the towns of Ridgeway and Ouray and 2.5 hours from Telluride to the west.

Gunnison

The town of Gunnison is just 30 minutes south of Crested Butte but is the most expensive option to fly in to.

Alpine Express Taxi Service

Alpine Express offers a daytime and late night taxi service. Daytime rates start at $30 for the first passenger and $5 for each additional passenger. Crested Butte Mountain Resort

All wedding guests will receive 20% off any property booked through Crested Butte Mountain Resort including The Lodge at Mountaineer Square, The Grand Lodge, or The Plaza. Additionally, each guest staying at a CB Mountain Resort property will receive a free chairlift ticket. Be aware that South Crested Butte is approximately 7.5 miles from downtown and 9.5 miles from the resort. Rent-by-owner sites will make houses in this area seem appealing with lower rates and more bedrooms. As mentioned above, there is a late night taxi service to this area but it costs more.
