Maid of Honor
My friendship with Lauren began in preschool, when we were too young to know any better. Around the prime age of twelve years old we began exchanging notes with drawings on them that we thought were hilarious. My favorite note from her was a picture of the two of us, 110 years old (we originally said 100 but decided it wasn’t enough), fighting with canes like you would with lightsabers while babbling nonsense to each other. I still have the note, and the image I think will be engrained in my head forever. I’m looking forward to 85 more years of nonsense with my very first and best friend!
Best Man
I'm Ben! I've known Colin for more than half my life (16 long years) and I've enjoyed being his friend the whole time. We have been through a lot in those years since grade school, including countless wiffle-ball bruises from home-run derbies in his backyard. As the only IU grad in this wedding party, I feel a bit outnumbered, but I'm extremely honored to be a part of Colin's big day as his best man!

When I think of our friendship I think of Italian nightclub sandwiches and space documentaries and watching conspiracy theory films in our love nest instead of doing our homework. I also think of enjoying my first Moscow mule at theta chi with you and future hubby!

Colin and I met as young boilermakers during our freshman year at Purdue. We officially became brothers when we joined the same fraternity later that year. Our bond only grew stronger though late nights of fighter jet video games and matches of Battleship accompanied by shots, formally known as Battleshots. I was so happy when Colin met Lauren as they meshed so well together. I could tell it was a relationship that would last the years. One of my favorite moments shared with them was attending Purdue's home baseball games and endlessly heckling the opposing team until the final pitch. I wish them the absolute best as they continue to grow their relationship as they enter into the world of marriage.

Basically...Lauren and I were forced into friendship by being friends with all the same people growing up. After some years we finally broke down and became close friends :) I can’t wait to watch Lauren and Colin get married. They are two fantastic people who honestly make each other the best versions of themselves. Since day one in Colorado, Colin has seamlessly fit into our friend group. To be honest though, I mostly can’t wait for them to get married so they get a puppy that I can play with...

Colin and I first met at a social gathering after rushing our future fraternity and home, Theta Chi. We quickly hit it off while enjoying our favorite high-end cocktail of Raspberry McCormicks on the rocks. We both loved to play sports, argue, and quite frankly hangout and do nothing. He was a friend who I knew I could always trust, confide in, and go to when I needed a quick laugh after a rough day. I was very fortunate to meet Lauren right when her and Colin started dating. She was always full of energy and happiness. You could tell right away how special these two would be. I wish them both a great life together and am so happy to call them both friends and family.

I've known Lauren for as long as I can remember. We were classmates from kindergarten through senior year, spent years playing soccer together (until unlike the other girls my skills seemed to peak at age 12), and have somehow put up with each other for over 20 years now. One of my favorite memories with Lauren is when she called me up on a whim and we set out on a spontaneous trip to a kooky little patch of Southern Colorado. Within a 24 hour excursion we were able to play on the sand dunes, get up close and personal with some "famous" reptiles at an alligator farm, and even visit a UFO watchtower! You're a great adventure buddy Lo, and I can't wait to see you and Colin begin the adventure of a lifetime together! Love you both!

Colin and I first met at Purdue in 2013 when we were pledging the same fraternity. We quickly became good friends and formed the type of bond that only the typical college shenanigans and trying to figure out homework at 2am can bring. I even had the pleasure of witnessing Colin stress out about what to text Lauren when they first met because he didn't want to blow his chance with her. Colin and I remained friends throughout our college careers and even became roommates and coworkers after graduation during the time he lived in Charlotte, NC. We've had a lot of good times in the past and I'm looking forward to more in the future...starting with his bachelor party.

Little cousin but should be sister! Always down for cousin dates consisting of pizza and watching Cupcake Wars!

Thinking about Lauren and Colin getting married seems bizarre to me. I've known Lauren my whole life, as she's my sister and we've spent almost every moment together growing up. I'm excited for their wedding as I know she couldn't have a better guy than Colin. I'm very proud and thrilled for them both as they start a new and amazing journey in their life together.

To me, a friend is someone you can joke around with, often times at the expense of one another because that’s when it’s funniest, and someone that helps you find the fun in any situation in life, no matter the set of circumstances. A best friend, however, is someone who cares about you more than you sometimes care about yourself, whether you realize it or not. A best friend truly wants the best for you and will do whatever they can to make those things happen. Lauren, you are a best friend and for that I’m very thankful. I’m so happy for you and Colin and I know you’ll have a beautiful wedding and marriage! For the record, I was the first Colorado friend to meet him. Colin, you aren’t quite a best friend yet but your progress report is promising. Congratulations you two!

Lauren and I have always had a special relationship being the older siblings of our families. Growing up I've looked up to her as an older sister, one who gives me advice and shows me cool new things and people, like Ke$ha. I'm looking forward to going to more concerts with them and beating Colin in basketball in the future. I know I give Colin a hard time a lot, probably because he likes the Packers, but really I'm excited to have him join the family!

I’ve known Lauren since elementary school. We have grown up together and have shared a lot of great memories! A few of my favorites are having sleep overs and watching Cinderella Story and crushing on Chad Michael Murray. I’ve always loved the movie Grease, one night we were having a little too much fun in my parents kitchen singing and dancing to the sound track of Grease (Ask Lor about Patty Simcox) haha. I loved our family dinner dates with the Cordero family at Big Bills Pizza and, of course, Outback. I am very excited for what the future holds and cannot wait to create many more memories! Love you Loco!

It was a miracle that two kids, one from Indiana and the other from Japan, formed a strong bond over one conversation. The friendship was built around each others' coming of age story which included traveling across oceans, changing of dreams, and jobs overseas (a unique experience for a kid from Fort Wayne, IN). Colin continues to be ambitious, passionate, and courageous and excels given any opportunity. I can't be more proud of Colin and I'm honored that I was given the opportunity to be his friend and fraternity big brother, watch him grow, and be in his wedding. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the lovely new couple!

LoCo and I met freshman year outside of a giant biology lecture and the rest is history. We became friends fast and looking back on where our friendship started, we both have grown so much. I still remember when Lauren told me about this cute boy in her math class and here we are today! I couldn't be happier for the future Colin and Lauren have together and am so lucky to have witnessed their relationship evolve over the years. I look forward to many more happy years with Lauren in my life and can't wait to see where life takes Lauren and Colin both.

Colin and I became close as roommates in Theta Chi. We did everything together, from playing intramurals, going to Purdue games, and of course enjoying the late nights in 310 with Lauren and friends. We were each other's alarm clocks and even adopted a hamster together from Lauren's sorority. We've had some amazing times together, and I'm looking forward to many more with Colin and his bride-to-be!
Flower Girl
Lauren has known Addie since she was born and couldn’t think of a prettier princess for the job! She picked out the prettiest princess dress she has ever seen and loves twirling around in it!
Ring Bearer
Lauren has known Colby his whole life! She immediately knew he would be a part of her special day. He’s been preparing for his ring bearer responsibilities ever since and can’t wait to be up there with the groomsmen!
Flower Girl
Lauren and Everlee’s mom both went to Purdue and met in Alpha Phi! Lenaya and Alex are a huge part of our life and of course we had to have the cutest nugget in the world in our wedding!
