We're Getting married!

They say all the best relationships start as friendships and that's exactly how Laura and Tarun got their start. They met while they were both working at La Pizzeria ~ Laura, a friendly phone girl & Tarun, a know-it-all server. Working at a restaurant comes with late hours and working weekends - our coworkers become our friends. Tarun and Laura often spent their time off together and before you knew it, their friendship blossomed into a relationship. And the rest, as they say, is history.

It was the busy night before our trip to Montreal, filled with last minute packing and printing flight tickets... Tarun knew he had the element of surprise on his side. Armed with a cold bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and dinner from the very same pizzeria where they met, the stage was set. All that was missing was Laura. After her yoga class, she decided to run some errands, why not, it's not like there was someone waiting for her at home anxiously. Finally, Laura was back home and this was the moment for her to say..."I'm starving, thanks for dinner, I'm going to eat now!" With the champagne getting warm and the strawberries melting, Tarun knew he had to deviate from his original plan and just go for it. Laura was enjoying her dinner when Tarun said "It's kind of funny that you're eating Italian food tonight - from the pizzeria we met at - and now I am asking you to marry me!" With a mouthful, Laura looks at Tarun, who is down on one knee, holding a ring, and utters what every man wants to hear... "Um, what's going on right now?" After Laura eventually gets her bearings, she said YES and shed a few tears. The next morning, the happy couple was off to Montreal... as Fiancés!
