Where is the wedding taking place?

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 followed by a cocktail hour with light hors d’oeuvre. The reception will begin around 7:00.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code will be Semi-Formal. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts, slacks, long flowy dresses, skirts, blouses, pantsuits. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors weather permitting. It will be October in beautiful North Carolina, the weather can be a little indecisive, so I would recommend checking the forecast before attending and it may not be a bad idea to bring a light jacket or sweater for when the sun starts going down.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything it will be the beginning of fall season in North Carolina. It could be hot and humid, mild temps in the 70’s or even a bit chilly. As far as rain, who knows. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will take place indoors.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures. We will have a cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 where hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, tea, and water will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 7:00, with dancing to follow.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place on the same grounds. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, Uber, and Lyft can be iffy, but we do have a local shuttle in our area called Midnight Express LKN (980-422-9125) these are the options for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

Our RSVP deadline is Sept 1, 2024 to ensure we have the exact count for our cater. And….to make sure we have plenty of booze :)

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring my partner?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Yes, they both are.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll have a charcuterie grazing table during cocktail hour, followed by some delicious bbq paired with some yummy sides, and of course dessert. We will have wine, beer, sweet and unsweetened tea, as well as water to keep ya hydrated.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, of course. We will have wine and beer for those who wish to partake but don’t worry if that's not your thing, no worries, we got you covered. We will have sweet and unsweetened tea as well as water. Tipping the bartender would be appreciated :)

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take pictures and tag us in them on FB or The Gram
