The wedding will take place at DuGaren Venues & Vineyards in Denver, NC
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 followed by a cocktail hour with light hors d’oeuvre. The reception will begin around 7:00.
The dress code will be Semi-Formal. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts, slacks, long flowy dresses, skirts, blouses, pantsuits. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors weather permitting. It will be October in beautiful North Carolina, the weather can be a little indecisive, so I would recommend checking the forecast before attending and it may not be a bad idea to bring a light jacket or sweater for when the sun starts going down.
Of course, we can’t guarantee anything it will be the beginning of fall season in North Carolina. It could be hot and humid, mild temps in the 70’s or even a bit chilly. As far as rain, who knows. The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will take place indoors.
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures. We will have a cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 where hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, tea, and water will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 7:00, with dancing to follow.
We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place on the same grounds. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, Uber, and Lyft can be iffy, but we do have a local shuttle in our area called Midnight Express LKN (980-422-9125) these are the options for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

We’ll have a charcuterie grazing table during cocktail hour, followed by some delicious bbq paired with some yummy sides, and of course dessert. We will have wine, beer, sweet and unsweetened tea, as well as water to keep ya hydrated.
