This is the bride and groom's favorite hike location! It's about 17 miles long, and it is about a half hour drive from Caledonia, NY. Brian's U.S.A. Diner is located at the Mt. Morris entrance to the park in case you forgot your picnic basket! Not a diner fan?... Not a problem! You can also grab food at the Glenn Iris Inn which is located right at the center of the park as it overlooks the beautiful water falls.
This museum is a family favorite for both the Carson's and Ingersoll's! Jacquie and Josh not only grew up attending this museum, but they have also returned many times with Josh's younger sister, Mia. The museum offers a plethora of activities such as an 80's arcade, the historical toys room, and even a children's Wegmans to shop through. It is fun for all ages!
Looking for a fun, yet educational day activity? Hit up the Genesee Country Village and Museum! Located in Mumford, NY, this place is a highly interactive trip through the area's history. This has forever been a town favorite!
In the mood for some good food? Head over to The Village Inn located right in the middle of Caledonia! The have a wonderful full menu, bar menu, draft list and staff! In fact, this is where the bride and groom had their first big kid "date" on Valentine's Day 2011. Likewise, if you attended the bachelorette party in western NY, this is where you may order Sara's Key Lime Martini! It's a town favorite, and you won't be disappointed!
Coming into town on Thursday, May 27th? Catch the bride and groom most likely hitting up "Wing Night" at Hunts Pub! They have the best wings in the area, and the groom particularly enjoys ordering the "bomb wings" (do not try these at home, kids!). Likewise, this pub is located right down the street from the church in which the ceremony will take place. So, if you would like to kill some time before heading right to the reception, this location is a great spot for you!
Genesee Beer (a.k.a. river water) is a local "delicacy". The Brew House is located in downtown Rochester, and it overlooks the beautiful, historic High Falls. If it's not too cold, enjoy a Genny while sitting on the roof as you take in a great view of the city. Being in the middle of the city, this can be a great start to your night spent in Rochester, NY!
