Matron of Honor
Sister of the bride. Owner of Sarah's Snacks, Cross Fit enthusiast, and beloved wife to Evan Himes. Sisters always have a special bond that only they will understand. They've been through it, seen it and heard it all. As the bride to be I am proud to say she will not just stand with me on our day, but always has and always will be at my side.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Since the age of 8 they swam together, went to school together and obsessed about Harry Potter together. Can't say many friendships have lasted so long through so many different stages of life. As the bride to be I am not only grateful to have such a strong bond to a friend, but I am grateful that we have always found a way to stay connected all these year and never let life shake us.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. Through the halls of Central York Middle School these two made quite a pair. They rocked their converse and aviators like cool kids and danced to All American Rejects like no one was watching. As the bride to be, I couldn't of been more honored to have stood by this woman through every awkward teenage stage of life, and then to stand by her as she said her vows to the love of her life, and to now have her by my side through mine.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. It was love at first pose for these two designers at Kutztown University. Through crazy house mates, Shorty's karaoke nights, beach dates, and Europe travels they have formed a strong friendship even beyond their college degrees. As the bride to be, I have been so proud to watch this woman marry her high school sweetheart, travel the world and become a mom. I can't wait for her to stand by me as I try to keep up.
Bridesmaid
Future sister-in-law of the bride. They became acquainted through Matt but quickly became so much more. Through a shared loved of mac-and-cheese and dinosaurs a friendship not only blossomed but it bloomed. As the bride to be I am so glad I've been able to get to know her and grow closer over the years. I already consider her not just a friend but truly a sister.
Bridesman
Friend of the bride. Friendship struck fast with these two Kutztown designers. An inseparable crazy trio happened within the first few months of being on campus that grew into years of roommates, midnight dance parties, deep talks on the kitchen floor, non-stop Harry Potter and LOTR movie marathons, vacations, and a strong lasting friendship. As the bride to be I am so proud of the man he has become and honored to take the next steps of my life and his together.
Best Man
Friend of the groom. The nation's top steel salesman. Andy and Matt's friendship dates all the way back to NSES (RIP). Both of them grew up on Tower Drive and enjoyed countless summers of backyard football, all-night gaming sessions fueled by absurd amounts of mountain dew, and of course boat races in the backyard creek. They experienced a brief hiatus through the college years but reconvened afterwards, mostly because of their like passion (albeit masochistic) for the Baltimore Orioles. It just so happens that the year they began hanging out again the O's broke their 15 year playoff drought. Coincidence? I think not. An easy choice as best man, Andy is one of the most dependable dudes you'll ever meet and the groom is lucky to have such a great friend perennially at his side.
Groomsman
Friend of the groom. The next Pete Weber. It wasn't really until after high school that Kyle and Matt became good friends. They had similar friend groups but never took the time to get to know each other. It all started at a Cinco De Mayo party Matt was throwing. Jameson showed up super late, they drank some horrible bottom shelf tequila, and talked until the sun came up. The rest is history. Soon Throughout countless cases of High Life, camping trips, Trailer Park Boys binge sessions, and driveway fires, Kyle has become one of Matt's best friends. In all honesty if it weren't for Kyle and that bottle of Montezuma, Matt would have never met Jackie, and if Matt never met Jackie he would have never met Kate.
Groomsman
Friend of the groom. The 5th Ghostbuster. Many a hardcore show was attended by Matt and Tyler back in the day. It was really what ultimately brought them together. Sharing a dirty, smelly, confined space with poor acoustics and a high likelihood of getting unintentionally punched in the face by a straight edge kid swinging his arms, has a way of bringing people together. A collector of guitars, cars, guns, and Steinbeck novels, Tyler is basically your ultimate man. He owns a Gumby suit, a full ghostbusters costume including a home made proton pack, and throws the best Halloween party in the State (or at least Wellsville). He's also a model father and husband. Matt had the pleasure of being Tyler's best man in his wedding and is pumped to have Tyler stand up beside him on his big day.
Groomsman
Friend of the groom. World renown Herpetologist. Known by many names: Crim, Grum, Crimewave, Crime-spree, Grimes, etc. there is only one Crimmins. Going all the way back to Leib elementary, Crimmins is the longest running friend of the groom, all the way back to Mrs. Fox's kindergarten class. Even back then Crimmins was obsessed with all things that make others recoil; snakes, spiders, worms, blood, and so on. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who is more knowledgeable on the subjects. He's also a horror fiend, and currently lurks around Field of Screams as Lester. He's one of the few people who share in the same odd sense of humor as the groom, and have the same infatuation with Daniel Day Lewis. If you'd like to meet him, look for the only guy at the wedding with a Gummo tattoo.
Groomsman
Friend of the groom. A modern day shaman. Fate would have it that Moore and Moul are close enough in the alphabet that Matt and Shane shared a homeroom in high school. It is without question that music is what brought them together. Whether it's trading new bands found online, spending countless hours scouring Ikos and Borders for CDs (and later records), or screaming Fugazi lyrics over a bottle of Scotch, it's a binding force in their friendship. Shane spends his days (and nights) on film sets behind the scenes doing sound and lighting, and making those in front of the camera look and sound good. After bouncing around from Boston to LA, he's back in PA, currently residing in Philly. He's one of the most genuine and thoughtful guys you'll meet and just look at that gorgeous head of hair!
