This is the story of how Nate and Victoria met in 2012. This however is not your typical love story. It all started by them creeping and almost ended by them sneaking. Let's begin with Nate a.k.a Smiley, the "piece of s**t, let him tell it the good piece of s**t. it was the summer of 2012, Nate was riding by a basketball game when he first laid eyes on Victoria. The smile she wore complimented her dark skin tone with her hat to the back coaching. Yes, coaching men’s basketball! She was so demanding and highly respected as she lead her team to victory. That's not what caught Nate’s attention. It was the fact that all who encountered Victoria called her by her birth name, no nicknames which was a sign of power in his eyes. Nate wasn't use to anything like that coming from where they were from: Da P. Nate made his move with no luck every time he would try to get close she had a swarm of people around her. He knew a woman like that had to have a someone occupying her time and so did he. That was Nate’s first encounter with Victoria but not his last... Now Victoria was up and coming young, beautiful, educated; street and book smart. Which caused a lot of unwanted attention both good and bad. Like we said this is not your typical love story. Victoria was raised with nothing but brothers so she was what you would call a “Tom-Boy,” she knew all the tricks guys played. But her mother (The Enforcer) and her father (Pimp’n) were her greatest teachers. Victoria’s first encounter with Nate was coming out the market where he was passing out flyers promoting his book “Street Chronicles” which she quickly dismissed as a lame way to flirt. Nate was still amazed by her beauty but thought to himself (you have to have money to deal with her). Nate was in a financial state of embarrassment. Until one day Nate gets a call from one of his favorites “Breezy”. Unexpectedly, Victoria was with her and they were officially introduced.

It wasn’t all "peaches and cream", Nate knew he had competition and being broke didn’t help. “The things in life we regret the most are the risks we never take.” That's one of the many rules Nate lives by. The relationship started with walks around the park, sharing food, and Nate giving Victoria most if not all of his time and attention. What Victoria believed to be romantic was Nate's way of improvising to cover up his finances. He did just enough to keep him in the race, but thought Victoria was starting to catch on, so he started to fall back just enough so she wouldn’t catch on. As time went on, Victoria and Nate didn't see each other much nor talk on a regular basis. Nate was a big flirt and didn’t care either way. It was the beginning of the summer 2012 and Nate saw Victoria with someone that caught his eye. He went to make his move, but Victoria quickly stepped in to let it been known that they knew each other. Nate later found out the person she was with was her Mother (The Enforcer). So Nate said to The Enforcer “I’m going to get your daughter, I want her !” And she said “boy please everybody want my daughter” and they both walked away. Nate was now more determined than ever to get Victoria. Victoria started to go out and do light travels with Nate unbeknown of his financial state. Every time they would go out he would say he was not hungry or he just ate. When she would say she was hungry instead of asking what she wanted Nate would bring her food. Little did she know it was all calculated. If they went out to eat, Nate would have his life savings in his pocket which was no more than $85 no less than $60. So when they went on dates, Nate being great at math would calcuate Victoria's order first so he can make sure he had enough to at least order an appetizer.

It was one time Nate got worried that his calculations were off. They were at Benihana’s and he reached his max. Not to mention Victoria put her tissue in the food suggesting she was finished. Every body knows when you put your tissue in the food it’s considered trash which irritated Nate because not only was he thinking about dining and dashing, but her wasting food that he really couldn’t afford was crazy. The waiters asked if anyone wanted desert, ice cream to be exact. Nate instantly said “NO” loud enough to start a stir around the table where people were also. “The ice cream is free Nate” Victoria mentioned causing Nate to smile in relief. Nate being lactose intolerant normally would have declined but he wasn’t turning down nothing free that night. Through the years Nate and Victoria went through many ups and downs. Only to find their way back to each other every time. After several years of dating, they decided to take their relationship to the next level. On January 7, 2017, they got engaged! It was always known that the love was there and spending their lives together was certain. On July 25, 2021, they will be uniting in marriage. After all this is how they "Landers" in Love.
