We met working together at Penske Truck Leasing! We had mutual friends trying to get us to go on a date, but both were too shy to make the first move. We both thought the other one wouldn't be interested in the other. Finally Emily messaged him first on Facebook and we hit it off before finally hanging out. Our first date was July 4th weekend, where Landen tested Emily's shooting skills with clay pigeons and getting his friends' approval. A week later on July 11th, he asked her to be his girlfriend.

Landen popped the question on 10-10-2021, after their morning hunt. He really wanted Emily to get a deer and after they tracked it down he was going to propose then. Unfortunately, they did not see any deer. So Landen opted for when they got out of the woods. It was perfect for them!
