With limited parking in the neighborhood we had to get creative! We've spoken with McKendree Methodist Church and they've graciously allowed us to utilize their parking lot during the evening and we've secured a shuttle to take folks back and forth between the lot and the venue. They're only about a mile apart so trips should be brief. The shuttle will be available starting at 3:45pm. We ask that you please arrive at the church by 4:00 pm so you'll make it to the venue by 4:10. The shuttle will take guests back to their car as they would like throughout the evening stopping at 9:00 pm. Feel free to uber to the venue as well if that's easier for you! Also, no need to worry about the 'Church Parking Only' sign at the church.
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sweater-dresses and booties to jeans and tees. Feel free to get fancy if you want too!
The ceremony will be on the lake bank so the ground may be soft. Don't forget this when picking out your shoes. We also recommend bringing a jacket incase there is a chill in the air and sunglasses for the ceremony,
5:00 pm - 5:45 pm
Head up to the house for a drink! We'll join you shortly There is a coat closet in the entryway if you want to hang up any outerwear once inside.
5:45 pm - 9:00 pm
Share some BBQ and other bites with us as we hang around the house enjoying the evening. Please note since we are hosting at a family friend’s home and having a reception style reception seating will be somewhat limited. We did do our best to make sure everyone has a seat somewhere though!
