The Wedding Website of Laetizia Bizzari and Blake Dorris
We hope our wedding will allow y'all to make it into an amazing trip to Europe! Since the wedding is on a Thursday, it leaves plenty of time to explore France or other countries nearby before. We recommend flying out the weekend before to have the weekend to recover from jet lag and spend some time in Paris (or elsewhere) sight-seeing before heading down to the Provence region. We will be in Cotignac starting on Tuesday, August 10th if you decide to head down early! If you would like to explore the Provence region, there is no better way then to rent a car - it will be lavender field season, along with vineyards, cute villages, and festivals on every street corner. Car rentals are available at the train stop in Aix, but make sure to book an automatic car in advance if manual transmission isn't your thing...

Flight

Charles de Gaulle

The easiest and cheapest way to get to our wedding will be to fly into Paris from NYC (there are many non-stop flights for a reasonable price round trip if you book early!) If you live in a smaller city, we highly recommend flying to NYC as a connection before Paris as the flights are much cheaper that way. Some recommended airlines for the trip overseas are Air France, Delta, La Compagnie (if you want to splurge a little on business class). Other airports to fly into that are close to the venue are Nice and Marseilles but these are likely more expensive as they are smaller airports, however it is a cheap and short flight from Paris to those airports if you choose to go that route. We are happy to organize a shuttle if multiple guests fly into one of these airports as well.

Train

SNCF

Our favorite way to get to Provence is by train!! France's trains are incredibly nice and fast, for a very good price. There is a direct train that leaves from Paris Gare de Lyon to Aix -en-Provence, where we can organize shuttles to get you to the village of Cotignac. Train tickets can be booked 3 months in advance of the date - we highly recommend booking those as soon as available as the south of France is insanely popular in the summer

This is a great option if you would like to stay in a hotel (rather than the guest houses in the village). It is located about 15 minutes from the venue, with wifi and Uber is available in the town.

House Or Rental

La Radassière Cotignac

If you want the more typical Provence experience, there are a lot of guest houses in the classic Provence style. Beautiful guest house ~5-10 minutes away from the venue and town of Cotignac.

House Or Rental

Guesthouse Le Mas de Cotignac

Smaller guest house right outside of Cotignac with pool and breakfast included.

House Or Rental

Le Mas de l'Olivette

Another cute and typical guest house between Cotignac and the venue. Has a pool!
