This wedding is meant to have a semi-formal bohemian, Moroccan vibe. That means dressing in your best linens, white flowy clothing, maxi dress, or neutral cozy attire. Please do not wear normal "church" attire. Consider wearing a comfortable shoe and not heels - we will be in the mountains! Please see our Pinterest board for more inspiration! https://pin.it/7d3QrWbPQ
Yes, and no. You can go as simple as wearing a white shirt and tan pants. Don't go crazy if you don't want to, but try your best to match the dress code -- it makes it more fun! :) For all our LDS family members - please do not wear normal church attire (suits, ties, dress shoes etc) unless your dress is considered "bohemian looking".
Please do not buy us any gifts! If you want to give us something, you can donate to our Honeymoon fund. You can do so under the "registry" tab on this webpage or you can do so using a QR code we will have available at our wedding.
Yes, and no. We will be doing our ceremony alone with just to 2 of us earlier that day. At the wedding we will re-read our vows for everyone and have the officiator make it "official" ;). If you have small children, please plan to have an escape route if they get fussy. We still hope to make it as sacred and meaningful as possible for everyone experiencing it with us.
No. We will be serving cacao (sacred herbal drink for ceremony) as well as a large charcuterie table. Please plan to eat dinner before you come, and have snacks for your kids if needed.
Yes! We love kiddos, and a little chaos never hurt anybody. Just please plan to have snacks, activities, and diapers packed for them (if needed) since we will be in a remote location. Plan to have an escape route during the ceremony if they get fussy so that we can still maintain a sacred ambiance as much as possible.
