Question

Do I have to stay on the resort at Dreams Royal Beach?

Answer

No! Our goal is to fill 10 rooms, so we would much appreciate it if you were able to stay a few days and enjoy with us, but if for some reason staying there does not work for you, you are welcome to look into other options like AirBNB etc. Also we recognize we have family that live on the beautiful island of DR, so if you choose to just travel to us for the wedding day that is totally fine!

Question

Do I need to book my stay through your travel agent, if I am staying at the resort?

Answer

Yes, please! You will receive a discounted group rate on your stay if you book into one of our blocked rooms through our travel agent, Cynthia. We need to fill 10 rooms at the resort to ensure the discounted rate. Booking through Cynthia also includes airport transfers. We will also be having a cocktail party and other perks for booking this way.

Question

Do I need to come on certain days?

Answer

We are suggesting Thursday October 30th through Sunday November 2nd, if you would like to stay for the 3 nights. If you are wanting to stay longer you are welcome to arrive earlier or stay later!

Question

Will there be a schedule of events?

Answer

Yes! Planning is still in the works, since weddings at resorts like Dreams come together much more quickly and closer to the wedding date than we are used to in the U.S. Our wedding day will consist of a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We are looking into having a fun welcome party or event for when most people arrive, but this will be planned once we have a better idea of our guest list and arrival times of guests. You will be encouraged to spend time relaxing and enjoying what the resort has to offer during times events are not taking place!

Question

If I stay on the resort, do I need to stay for 3 nights?

Answer

Yes, this is standard for most all-inclusive resorts.

Question

Is the price nightly? Is it per room or per person?

Answer

The price will be a total depending on the amount of nights you are choosing to stay, (3,4, 5 nights etc.) This total price is per person, not per room. It is cheaper to stay in double occupancy rooms vs. single.

Question

I have another question you didn't answer!

Answer

Please text Kylie and she will do her best to answer your questions! We understand international travel can be anxiety-provoking, and you want to know all the details, so please don't hesitate to reach out about anything, if there is anything that is unclear!

For all the days along the way
