We're Getting Married!

KyLee’s best friend from high school had chosen Rollins College, and soon, KyLee found herself visiting and falling in love with the campus. So, on a whim, she decided to transfer and walk on to the Women's Basketball Team. Parker, two years younger than KyLee, was recruited to play Baseball at Rollins, making their paths seem even more distant. But little did they know, Rollins would soon become the backdrop for their love story. In the midst of 2020, during a year that was anything but ordinary, KyLee and Parker’s worlds began to align in ways neither could have anticipated. Both enrolled in the same class, Physiology of Exercise/Performance, and as the world shut down due to Covid-19, Rollins College closed its doors. In the quiet of Winter Park, both stayed behind, surrounded by mutual friends. It was here that something special began to bloom. They began spending more time together—hanging out, talking, laughing. Eventually, Parker, ever the patient one, told one of KyLee's friends that he thought she was beautiful and wanted to get to know her better. Over the next eight months, their bond grew stronger. Finally, during a Florida Georgia Line drive-in concert, amidst the music and the magic of the night, Parker asked KyLee to be his girlfriend. It was a simple question, but it marked the beginning of an incredible journey. In the years that followed, their love continued to grow. KyLee worked for the Orlando Magic, and Parker started grad school at Rollins, all while continuing his baseball career. A girl who once thought watching baseball was like watching paint dry soon became Parker’s number one fan. After Parker graduated, the couple moved in together into a duplex in Winter Park, where they began building their life as a team. It was there that Parker quickly became best friends with KyLee’s golden retriever, Duke, and their home was filled with laughter, love, and a growing sense of togetherness. Over the years, they traveled together—sunny beach vacations, adventurous ski trips, and countless other moments that made them feel like they were exactly where they were supposed to be. And now, as they stand before all of you, their love has only deepened, growing stronger with every year that passes. What started as a twist of fate, a chance meeting, and a shared class during a pandemic has blossomed into something truly beautiful. On November 22, 2025, we will celebrate this new chapter, we can’t help but feel grateful for the journey that brought us here—and excited for the countless adventures that still lie ahead!
