FAQs

Text Tyler or Kristen if you have further questions!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than Monday March 1, 2021 because we need to give the caterers a final head count to ensure that we have enough food.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Since we are doing a honeymoon fund, we are not registered anywhere. However, if you prefer to give a gift other than money, please feel free to surprise us!!!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM, so plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early so you can pick your seat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We just want people to enjoy themselves at our wedding, so please wear what you feel comfortable wearing!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP online it will show you how many people we have assigned for you to bring to the wedding. If you would like to bring extra people, the website should allow you to send Tyler or Kristen a request to bring an extra guest. If you have trouble with this, feel free to reach out to Tyler or Kristen! As much as we would love for everyone to be there, considering COVID-19 restrictions, we are limited, so keep this in mind.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are always welcome! However, if you do bring children, please make sure you also RSVP for them so we make sure to have enough food for them.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have been unable to block hotel rooms since many of them only have several rooms available to book. Unfortunately, if guests would like to stay the night near the venue, they will have to book the hotel or Airbnb of their choice. Brenham, Texas seems to be the closest. We apologize for this inconvenience. Some options include: Baymont by Wyndham Brenham- 11.3 miles away from venue Motel 6 Brenham- 11 miles away from venue Coach Light Inn Brenham- 12.3 miles away from venue Far View- A Bed & Breakfast Estate- 11 miles away from venue Best Western Inn of Brenham- 12.5-12.8 miles away from venue Super 8 by Wyndham Brenham- 13-13.5 miles away from venue Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brenham South- 10.8 miles away from venue Comfort Suites Brenham- 11.1 miles away from venue Inn at Indian Creek- 9.5-10.7 miles away from venue

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We plan to different cuisines, and the food will be served by the caterers buffet style, so you will have plenty of choices to pick from! However, if it is severe, let Tyler or Kristen know and we would be glad to accommodate your needs!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking available at a private lot at the venue!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will not be transportation available to and from the hotels.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will only be having the ceremony and reception, which both will take place at Lacey Farms.

Question

What is your response to COVID-19?

Answer

Everyone's safety is our top priority! For this reason, we picked a venue which has plenty of indoor and outdoor space. In addition, we are not doing assigned seating so guests can sit where they feel comfortable. Guests will be able to create a name tag at the sign-in area and use it to claim their preferred seat/table. We are asking that everyone keep their mask on, and only remove it when eating/drinking. We will have extra masks, hand sanitizer throughout the venue, and extra soap in the restrooms. Also, we are asking that guests only use 1 photo booth prop and either dispose of it after use or keep it as a souvenir! We want everyone to have a great time, but safety is our top priority, so please be considerate of others!
