On July 1, 2019 Christian met Kristen when she came in to interview for an open position at the office. Instead of talking about Kristen's stellar credentials and experience, Christian had a hunch: "Are you a football fan?" he asked. Kristen got the job (and not because of Christian's poor interview questions). The two began grabbing lunch; that became weekend brunch. Christian knew there was something special about Kristen--more than just her amazing pup Chloe aka "the Queen." Their common love for Football, Family, and Fitness made being together natural. The rest is history.

Christian knew Kristen was his soulmate. He just needed the right opportunity. The couple took a hike up Black Balsam Knob, a mountain range with sweeping views. The couple made their way, with Chloe in toe, up the mountain side. Once at the 'right' spot, Christian, who was chilly (and emotional) fought back tears as he fumbled through his words to his bride to be. He got down on one knee - and forgot to pull out the ring! Quickly, he composed himself, presented the ring and she said yes!
