Amanda's Version: We met on a dating app called Bumble and we exchanged messages for only a couple days until we decided to meet in person. It was a huge snowstorm (typical MN) and we decided to meet for a couple drinks at The Happy Gnome in St. Paul, which is where Amanda was living at the time. I texted Austin last minute to tell him it’s okay if he wanted to reschedule (as he was driving from 45 minutes away), to which Austin responded “I think you’re worth it.” We have come so far since then & it has been an amazing journey falling in love with you, I can't wait to be your wife! Austin's Version: Amanda and I met through bumble. I was instantly connected to her because of her bio in her profile, she had a sense of humor, and she was absolutely beautiful. Once we started talking we didn't waste any time to meet. The first date is one I will never forget. I will try to be vivid as possible. The night was a very cold, windy, and snowy. Amanda and I met at the Happy Gnome in St. Paul but insisted to reschedule because of the snow storm and my exact words were..." No you are worth the drive." Well at this point I got there and was sitting at the bar waiting for her. Well she walked in without me noticing and tapped my shoulder. I looked at her and thought she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Well anyhow, we proceeded to the Bulldog in Lowertown in St. Paul. After some time we decided to call it a night; while walking out to my truck I looked over to Amanda and she pulled out a chicken wing from her pocket. She was mid eating it while I was looking at her with a huge grin on her face. I would have to say at that moment I said to myself she is a keeper. Well as dates flew by (there was so many) I fell madly in love with her. Amanda is one of the best things in my life. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful woman who is funny, strong, who can hold her own, beautiful, hard-working, awsome mother to our son Louie, kind, easy-going, and caring.
