Its finally happening!

Kou and Jason met through mutual friends. The first time they ever met was at a friend of a friend’s house. At that time, they didn’t know who each other were, and it wasn’t exactly love at first sight. Kou thought Jason looked like a thug with his mustache and oversized shirt. At that time, she was already in a relationship so being acquaintances, having met once or twice, they only added each other as friends on facebook. A couple months later, Kou became single and Jason made his move. With social media being the main platform of communication nowadays, Jason decided to DM Kou one drunk night. She woke up to a cheesy “you’re cute” message in her inbox and from there they messaged each other daily and got to know one another over the course of a couple months before they agreed to start offically dating!

Jason thought he had his proposal all planned out. In fact, his proposal was something out of the spur of the moment! Kou and Jason had been together for 6 and a half years before Jason thought it was finally time to POP THE QUESTION!. He had it all planned out. Kou had always wanted to visit the beautiful country of South Korea, so they made it happen in 2018. Jason was full of nervousness as he kept the ring in his pant pocket checking every few minutes to make sure that he did not lose the ring. On their 3rd day in Seoul, they decided to visit the Namsan Tower, which is known for their famous "Love Locks/Locks of Love". After Kou and Jason had purchased their lock, Jason took Kou on a stroll overlooking a breathtaking view of Seoul. And finally after finding the perfect spot to lock in their love, Kou turned around to pose for what she thought would be a picture perfect moment, as her sister was supposed to “take their picture”. With nervousness, Jason pulled out the ring he had been hiding from inside his pocket, dropped down on one knee, and said "Will you Marry me?" And she said YES!!!
