Lee & I met back in 1st grade. Became friends in 4th grade where we used to play Euchre under the table at snack time. 5th grade is when our love for each other started. I (pig tails perfectly in place) was sitting at the computer in Mrs. Hoehing's class & Lee sent one of his friends to ask me to be his girlfriend. We dated until 6th grade when Lee decided to part ways. We remained friends. Throughout 7th grade, I would write notes to him & his friends seeing who he had a crush on at the time. Eventually, I realized we would just be friends so I put wanting a relationship on the back burner. We were in middle school after all. The end of Junior year, Lee & I began hanging with the same friends. Our feelings grew stronger & stronger for one another. We started dating again in the beginning of Senior year. We graduated High School along side one another, even kissed him as he crossed the graduation stage (sorry Grandma!!). Lee & I both attended Michigan State University. We would spend countless hours together just doing college things & growing our love for one another. We definitely had some of our best times at MSU. We loved it there! Go Green! We have traveled so many places together. From the warm weather in Punta Cana to the Glaciers in Montana, we've seen so much. In April of 2018, I planned a birthday weekend up north at Lee’s family’s cottage with a bunch of my closest friends. Lee decided to get down on one knee at one of his favorite places in the world. The next two years we spent searching for a place we could call home. After seeing house after house, we finally just purchased our first home. We are enjoying this life together & are so excited for what the future holds. We can not wait to celebrate our love & commitment to one another with everyone we love most!
