So nice, we're doing it twice! We are moving forward with our wedding celebration this September. In order to keep everyone safe, we highly recommend guests be fully vaccinated. The venue requires unvaccinated guests to wear a mask. Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. In December of 2012, Lucas and Lindsey met at a trivia night that Lindsey and her bridesmaid Abby were hosting. Abby had invited Lucas for a fun night out and when she was busy setting up she asked Lindsey to "go keep her friend company at the bar." A couple weeks later, they had their first date over beers at the Chapter House in Ithaca and have been together ever since.

In 2017 Lindsey visited Lucas for one of his medical school rotations in Bangor, Maine. They decided to visit Acadia National Park and they drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain to take in the beauty the park had to offer. It pained Lindsey (an avid hiker) to drive to the top, so when they visited again in September 2019, Lucas planned a sunrise hike up the mountain. It was there at the summit of the mountain, when the first light hit the U.S. that morning, that Lucas got down on one knee and asked Lindsey to marry him.
