On Christmas Eve, Katie was bingeing Nextflix on the couch in the basement, while Matt was getting ready to attend a family party. She got a notification that Matt wanted to extend their match on Bumble, since she had yet to reach out to him. Shortly before things became “official” in 2020, Matt and Katie went on a weekend getaway to Portland, Maine.
