The dress code is semi-formal or nice casual. We recommend wearing light colors and breathable fabrics, as it could be warm on the day of the wedding. Comfort and style are key!
Our wedding will be outdoors in the Louisiana heat (we’re so sorry!). Don’t worry—we’ll have plenty of water available to keep everyone cool and comfortable!
Our venue has a long driveway with plenty of parking available for all our guests. You’ll have no trouble finding a spot!
The ceremony begins with me walking down the aisle at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding your seat before the ceremony starts.
Due to the intimate size of our wedding, we’re only able to accommodate named guests listed on the invitation. If your invitation specifies a plus-one, you are welcome to bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!
We’re serving up a delicious Southern-inspired menu featuring meat pies, boudin balls, jambalaya, potatoes au gratin, green beans, and wedding cake for dessert
If rain is in the forecast, we’ll be prepared! We plan to rent tents to keep everyone dry, and there’s also a covered porch area and plenty of space inside the house for guests to stay comfortable. Whatever the weather, we’ll make it work, and have a wonderful celebration!
Yes, feel free to take photos and videos throughout the day! We just ask that you be mindful of the photographer and stay out of their way so they can capture all the important moments.
