We're getting married!

We’ve been together since February 9th, 2019. It all started when we were sophomores in high school—after months of flirting, Sam finally asked me to be his girlfriend. I was 15, and he was 16. From that moment, we were inseparable, spending as much time together as possible. Over the years, we’ve experienced so much life together—everything from loss to navigating COVID and even hurricanes—things you never think you’ll face when you’re just kids. But we got through it all together, growing stronger with each challenge. Our love continued to blossom throughout high school, and eventually, we moved to Ruston to attend Louisiana Tech. At Tech, we found even more ways to grow, both as individuals and as a couple. We’ve been lucky to make amazing friends who have been with us every step of the way. Today, we share a cat named Whiskey, who is the light of our lives (especially Haley’s!). We’re excited for what the future holds—including welcoming a sweet puppy into our little family when we get a home with a yard! Sam is set to graduate with his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering in May 2025, while Haley will earn her MBA in August 2025. After graduation, we plan to move to a new city where Sam will pursue his Master’s in Aerospace Engineering. We’re so excited for this next chapter and feel incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives to celebrate this journey with us. And now, six years later, we’re getting married!
