On our first date I asked Danny to go to mass at St. Agnes. We didn't make mass, but we did stroll down to see the beautiful church after dinner. That night Danny encouraged me to finally finish my sacraments if it was something I wanted. We never knew that a little over two years later we would end up getting married in that same beautiful and historic church we visited on our first date.

Before Ashley and Danny ever met The Wedding Singer was a favorite movie of each of them, so starting the playlist off with songs from that film was a no brainer. When Ashley found Danny’s dating profile it said in the bio “if you swipe right on me your theme song can be ‘Shut Up and Dan’s With Me’… so that closes out the list. As Ashely and Danny started dating they made it to several concerts in their first year together; Jason Aldean, Nickelback, Edwin McCain, and Hootie and the Blowfish — so we took the top love songs from each of those shows. Fast forward to the first time Danny realized he was truly in love, Kane Brown’s Thank God was playing. And with both Ash and Dan having been burnt in the past, “Thank You For Loving Me” became a catchphrase of their relationship. Many summer nights have been spent out by the pool listening to country anthems; Yeah by Joe Nichols and Minimum Wage by Blake Shelton are Danny and Ashley’s favorites respectively. And finally after the two put together their wedding playlist Danny found a little known song called Ghost by the independent artist Tom MacDonald, which Danny shared with Ashley because it reminded him of her, and she said it made her cry.
