The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the beautiful La Ventura located in San Clemente, CA. Can't wait to see everyone there!

They don't remember exactly when or where they met... Despite attending the same elementary, middle, and high schools growing up, Hannah and Kilian were NOT friends until some time after college. For a long time, Hannah was just "Chase's little sister" and Kilian was just “A friend of Chase’s” – it wasn’t until mutual friends brought them together that they got to know each other better, and then everything changed! But don't worry - they asked Chase for permission before they became official!

Kilian asked Hannah on a date one Friday night while they were out for drinks with friends in Laguna Beach. The next morning (1:00 PM) they texted and decided to go to dinner and a movie at the Irvine Spectrum that evening since they were both busy "running errands" during the day. An hour later or so, Hannah was grocery shopping at Costco with her mom and can you guess who she ran into in the meat section??? KILIAN WITH HIS DAD. The parents stopped to talk to each other while they both stood there uncomfortably for an eternity (a few minutes). Despite the embarrassing encounter with the parents, they absolutely clicked. They had a great time on their movie date and decided to go back to Costco the next day to buy annual passes to Universal Studios (driven by their mutual love for Harry Potter) and have been inseparable ever since, now for over six years!

Kilian and Hannah spent a perfect morning exploring Paris and seeing Hannah's two favorite museums, the Musée D'Orsay and Musée L'Orangerie. The “plan” for the evening was to go to dinner near the Eiffel tower and a "Vivaldi concert" at the Saint Chapelle. On the way to an “early dinner” at 5:30 PM, Hannah's shoe slipped and the jeweled beading on her shoe strap completely broke off! Kilian insisted on running back to the hotel to get a sewing kit to fix it. Hannah thought he was being a bit dramatic over a shoe, but little did she realize that dinner wasn’t actually planned until quite a bit later… Kilian came running back with the sewing kit and fixed Hannah’s shoe while she was sitting on a park bench by the Eiffel Tower – suddenly a group of French women who were walking by stopped in their tracks and asked Hannah in French "Where in the world did you find such and incredible man!? I need to find myself an American!" This was the greatest prequel to what was to come. Once the shoe was fixed, they made our way over to the Eiffel Tower to snap a few pictures in their formal attire - but as they were walking through Trocadero Park, Kilian dropped down on one knee and asked Hannah to be his forever! She said "oui", of course! The rest of the evening was NOT spent at a Vivaldi concert, but instead, first taking lots of engagement photos with a professional photographer that Kilian had hired in secret to meet them there for the proposal (see pictures in the “Engagement Photos” section), followed by a Michelin star boat cruise dinner on the Seine with champagne and gorgeous views of Paris!
