Maid of Honor
I have known Jenny since I was seven years old and first moved to Cincinnati! I met her in second grade. On the first day of school, I remember Jenny was wearing the most adorable navy blue shirt with white flowers on it. At recess, I told her I liked her shirt and asked her if she wanted to play with me. She agreed. Three weeks later, I turned and asked her: "Are we best friends yet?" Shocked, Jenny paused and then answered: "I guess so." Jenny has been the most amazing friend to me for 15 years, and I know she will be an outstanding friend to me for the rest of my life!
Best Man
Aaron and I were roommates for our first two years at Thomas More College. He invited me on Celebration! Retreat in my first semester, which catalyzed the evolution of our roommate-ship to our friendship. He was the first friend I had with whom I could have deep conversations about anything, from science, to faith, to Austrian economics!

When I think of college, no one traveled quite as similar a journey to me as Sarah did. From being single at the same time, to crying late at night about our vocations, to having 1:30 am tuna parties, I'm forever grateful I met and befriended this amazing woman of God.
Groomsman
Greg and I met when he was dragged (by Aaron) into the Rumpus Room while I was playing Skyrim. Greg and I became friends when Greg was dragged (by Aaron) to Celebration retreat the year after I joined. He fit right in with the rest of us quirky Catholic guys in the Rumpus room, and joined us on many of our Risk nights and Waffle House excursions. I'm so thankful he'll get back from Ecuador in time for my wedding!
Bridesmaid
Even though she is younger than me, I have always admired Julia and looked to her as an inspiring role model. Her calm and steady personality was always something I was attracted to, being the crazy extrovert that I am. I love the way you put God first in everything you do Julia. Keep being the amazing person that you are.

Paul is a gentleman and a scholar. If Aaron and I were the tornado half of the room, Paul and Jacob were the placid Kentucky spring afternoon. When I went through bad times that year, Paul often happened to be in the room at the same time and we went up to the cafeteria together and got me through another evening, even though I was probably pretty depressing to be around. Paul was truly the faithful friend who is a sturdy shelter!

If I could describe my relationship with MK in one sentence, I would pick our phrase": "It's pigtail day!" MK is the person I am just WEIRD with. Our weirdness blends together into ridiculous, hilarious times. I lived with MK for 2.5 years during college and I am so glad she was there to support me through the good times and bad. I don't know what I would have down without her in my weakest moments.
Groomsman
There is no one in the world I would rather get Taco Bell, Panda Express, or Cane's Cocaine Sweet Tea with. Our jam sessions are always groovy, and when we're in writing mode we are in sync. I literally could not ask for a better drummer to work with, and I hope we can continue jamming as we finish our degrees, those were some of the best times I had in 2016/2017!
Bridesmaid
I have known Polena since second grade! We were in second and third grade together, and then we reconnected in high school over AP Chemistry! My favorite thing about Polena is that she is always up for any type of adventure. We've gone salsa dancing, shopping, out to eat, to nightclubs, and to countless ballets. Even when we don't see each other for a while, we pick up right back where we left off when we do. I'll definitely be friends with Polena for the rest of my life.
Groomsman
Patrick is the best DM I've ever played with! He is patient and flexible and a total dad (in the best way!) Patrick's best dad moment was caring for Jorge at my 21st birthday and his country thanks him! It's been a pleasure getting to know him at Miami, especially early in the morning in Membrane Proteins when I humblebragged about staying in Dayton way too late with Krista.

When I think back to the horrors of Junior High School, there is no one I am more grateful for than Kelsey Poleyeff. Kelsey was my wonder woman in the seventh grade. After going through a horrible fight with my closest friend at school, I felt very lonely and didn't really have anyone. Kelsey, who I had known since 5th grade, swooped in and took me under her wing. Suddenly, I was friends with all of her friends, and I had a great group of friends all throughout high school, which I still have to this day. She was even great enough to take pictures when Kevin proposed to me! I can't say enough good things about her.
Groomsman
No wedding party of mine would be complete without all four members of the illustrious Rumpus Room! Jacob is the best goofy gentle giant of friend. He wrote and DM'd for the one night Dungeons and Dovetails campaign that we played for Aaron's Bachelor party; a seamless fantasy sum of our experiences at Thomas More College. If that's any indication of how his artistic abilities, I'm sure he'll go far!

One of my favorite phrases from Megan: "Krista, get it together!" I met Megan through MK freshman year at UD. I remember very frequently barging into Megan's room uninvited and telling her all about my problems, whether she wanted to hear them or not. Somewhere along the way she warmed up to me though, because she is now one of my closest friends from college.
Groomsman
He's my only brother and favorite brother! Steven, thank you for putting up with me as your sister all of these years. I definitely didn't make things easy for you, and we are very different people, but I know you care for me dearly all the same. I know that when I have kids someday that you will be a very fun uncle!
Bridesmaid
I've known Alyssa the longest of anyone in my bridal party! Although I never had a sister growing up, as my cousin, Alyssa was like the big sister I never had. I've always admired how talented Alyssa is, from her amazing athletic abilities to her diligence and how hard she works. It's an honor to have her as one of my bridesmaids.
Groomsman
Being brothers a year apart practically made us twins. Outside of school we were nearly inseparable, riding bikes, playing Pickle and Ghost in the Graveyard with neighbors, and dueling in Yugioh (he totally cheated though!). I was always his sidekick item-thrower in Mario-Kart. He learned piano, and I learned guitar. Our paths diverged in college, but now we're somehow living in the same room at Miami!

Fun is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Heather. No matter what we are doing, whether it's eating, playing cards, lying on the floor talking for hours, or going to Myrtle Beach or out to a bar, Heather always adds to the experience. From the very beginning we've had a no drama, stress free friendship, and I'm so grateful for that. Heather made being in Theta Phi Alpha that much more rewarding for me, as she was one of the first sisters I really connected with.
