The Welcome BBQ (Friday) and Wedding Events (Saturday) will be in Sintra, at Quinta da Bella Vista (QBV), while brunch (Sunday) will be at Hotel Mundial in Lisbon (Lisboa in Portuguese). Addresses are below: QBV - Rua Barbosa du Bocage 60, 2710-517 Sintra, Portugal Hotel Mundial - Praca Martim Moniz 2, 1100-341 Lisboa, Portugal ^^^^^^^^ We recommend primarily using taxi apps like Uber or Bolt for going in between Sintra and Lisbon. Within Sintra, there are also local Tuk-Tuks which can be a convenient (and fun) way to get around. Shuttle service will be provided at night on the wedding day for guests who do are not staying at QBV. Below are a couple hotels where we have room block codes - we would suggest testing with and without the code as it's possible an un-refundable room could be cheaper. There are also many other great options in the area, both hotel and Airbnb.

Getting In

We recommend flying into Lisbon, Portugal (LIS Airport) and then calling an Uber or Bolt directly from the airport to wherever you're staying. Given the widespread availability and relatively lower cost, we generally recommend using ride share apps instead of renting a car if you are staying near Lisbon or Sintra.

This is where the recovery brunch will be on Sunday. They are located in a central part of Lisbon close to many attractions. Note that due to planned renovation the gym will not be available at this time of stay, but rooms should not be affected. The code is for a 15% discount from the July 11 to July 13, valid until the May 21.

Travel Note

Transportation to QBV

Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to QBV on Saturday (and to/from on Friday). There will be golf cart service from the main gate of the quinta to the lawn where the ceremony will be. On Saturday, doors will open at 4:00 and the ceremony will start promptly at 5:00. This is usually a 35-50 minute drive from Lisbon (longer drive from the busier downtown area). Please leave yourself ample time as traffic can be busy during the high tourism season in July.
