The Madison Saturday farmers market is iconic and a must experience for foodies. When Kenzie went to college in Madison, this is where she was every Saturday morning. If you want great produce, spicy cheesy bread, empanadas, and a great place to people watch, look no further. This market is also around the capital square, so you can see the capital building and the market all at once. The capital has a wonderful view of the city and is open to visitors. This is an outdoor patio that is on lake Mendota. This patio is a Madison icon. Every badger knows this terrace. There is beer, music, and lake views. The chairs come in only 3 colors: John Deer green, Allis- Chalmers Orange, and Sunshine yellow. If you go inside the memorial union building, there is a Babcock ice cream shop (University of Wisconsin's official ice cream) and Der Rathskeller, a German beer hall style with food and more beer.
