Grab & Gojek
Download these apps before you go. They are the Uber equivalents in Bali. You can easily book a bike, car or even get a food delivery!
Visa
There is a 500,000 IDR fee for a visa on arrival at Denpasar Airport. You can pay this by card or cash as you go through customs.
Data/Internet
We highly recommend purchasing a SIM card for easy access to the internet. From using google maps, WhatsApp, and ordering Gojeks to posting on Instagram, you'll be glad to have it! We use www.airalo.com to pre-purchase an eSIM so that it is ready to go as soon as we land, but you can also get cheap local SIM cards.
Bali Belly
Everyone wants to avoid getting the dreaded Bali belly... but we honestly don't think it is as prevalent as everyone makes it out to be. You can take Travelan, hand sanitiser and charcoal tablets (which you can find easily in Bali chemists) if you're worried.

There are many accommodation options, but we suggest anywhere in the south of the island to avoid traffic - consider Jimbaran Bay, Uluwatu or Nusa Dua. We'll be at Bingin Beach if you want to stay nearby.
