Wedding Party

Evangelea DiCicco-Kaplan

Matron of Honor

Kennedy and Evangelea met in kindergarten where they could be described by family members as frenemies. In no time they went from frenemies to best friends. From middle school dances, to graduations, to weddings, these two have been through it all. Evangelea currently lives in Texas but even with the distance their bond is strong. These two are the definition of friends who become family.

Caroline Le

Bridesmaid

Caroline and Kennedy met freshman year at UC Irvine when they joined the same sorority. They quickly bonded over their favorite show, The Good Wife, and their interest in international affairs. These two were inseparable during their 4 years at UCI. They're known to have 2 + hour FaceTime call where they never run out of things to talk about, as well as watching the same movie in their respective homes and texting each other every thought they have. Caroline was the first person Kennedy told when she realized she wanted to marry Chet!

Susie Morales

Bridesmaid

Susie and Kennedy were not friends when they first met. Kennedy was shy and attending law school while Susie was already settled in her life in the Bay Area as a working professional. They bonded during COVID with their other roommate Mattie. There were countless nights where someone went to the kitchen to get water the others came out and chat. Those talks at the kitchen island lasted hours and consisted of playing throwback music and talking about glee. Susie and Kennedy stay in touch by sending each other content on just about every social media platform.

Mattie Peters

Bridesmaid

Mattie joined Susie and Kennedy at the Arbol Way house during COVID. A fellow public defender, Mattie and Kennedy attended law school together! Nothing brings together two people like academic trauma. Mattie brought her warm spirit to the house and indulged Susie and I by watching Pride and Prejudice after we talked about it incessantly.

Evenia DiCicco

Bridesmaid

If the last name looks familiar it is because Evenia is the younger sister of Matron of Honor Evangelea, and by extension the closest thing Kennedy has to a younger sister. Kennedy has watched Evenia grow up from 4 years old to a young professional. There is no one better to roast Evangelea than these two. No one keeps it real like Evenia. There are so many found memories of Christmas Eves, birthdays, graduations, and family get togethers.

Isabella Prieto

Bridesmaid

Bella and Kennedy became friends through their families. They quickly realized they both enjoyed random TV shows, spooky stories, and current events. These two are always learning a lot from each other. Bella always has something new she's learning and willing to discuss, from art restoration to folklorico dancing. Bella was present the second time Chet and Kennedy hung out! She famously asked Kennedy's brother "what's going on with these two?" after sensing a vibe between Chet and Kennedy.

Michael Larsen

Best Man

Michael and Chet met during Intramural Badminton at Sehome high School. The two slowly became friends, hanging out at the school sponsored Seattle Mariners game to fantasy football league the summer before Sophomore year. But it was in French 2 when Michael came into class and sat next to Chet that the two became inseparable. Every weekend the “Bro Clan” would get together for “Bro Nights” at Michael’s house. Michael was not just a great friend to Chet but introduced him to several of his other close friends.

Erik Lane

Groomsman

Picture Chet, a Freshman at Sehome trying to fit in and find good friends. There’s a school sponsored Mariners game, Chet’s friends at the time cancel last minute but he decides to go anyway. Chet brings his Sports Illustrated magazine to read on the bus when Erik calls him to the back of the bus to hang with him and Michael. The three of them hung out that entire day and the rest is history. Chet has found memories of driving around in Erik’s Toyota Celica listening to Eminem’s “Stan” for the first time.

Daniel Ziegler

Groomsman

Daniel Ziegler is someone who leaves an impression, and that impression in Algebra 2 was “who is the new guy with a Phineas and Ferb backpack who is talking so loud?” This new kid in class decided to switch seats and sit next to Chet, and they became friends. They’d show up to class early to finish their homework but then spent most of class talking about sports. No one can deny that Daniel Ziegler is a man with a relentlessly positive spirit.

Austin Rapp

Groomsman

Austin Rapp, another Sehome High School graduate and “Bro Clan” member. Chet and Austin can talk for hours and hours. In fact, the first time the two of them hung out they stayed up until 4am talking. Austin is the architect of many “Bro Clan” pranks and adventures. He is an innovator of language, adding new terms and phrases to the “Bro Clan” lexicon. One could describe him as an enigma.

Andrew Kourtis

Groomsman

Andrew Kourtis, AKA Frocket, AKA Frock Star, or Frock for short. This charming man is a 6 time social chairman of Farmhouse Fraternity at Washington State University (go cougs!) This man knows how to throw a party and how to attend one, he has the most refined sense of fashion of anyone. Frock took an extra semester in Pullman to make Chet had someone to go to the bars with his Senior Year (shoutout Shelts as well). When you look up extrovert in the dictionary, it is a guarantee that Frock Star’s picture is right there.

Caleb Leavitt

Groomsman

Most of the aforementioned men live in the Pacific Northwest. Caleb is the only Washington friend that joined Chet in California. This is a man who has a deep love and appreciation of motorcycles and automobiles. While Chet was attending Berkeley for law school, Caleb was living in the Bay Area working. The two of them wasted many Mondays at the horse track in Berkley drinking one dollar beers. Caleb is known for his great driving skills, and no matter how fast he may drive, Chet always feels safe with Caleb behind the wheel <3 (Don’t worry we’d Uber on the dollar beer days).
