Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 25, 2026, so we can have an accurate headcount. :) *Note, if you are reserving a room via the room block, you must complete payment by the dates provided by Grand Velas. See the travel page for more details.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved two room blocks at Grand Velas Los Cabos and Grand Velas Boutique Hotel, so please check our travel page for all of the necessary details. *Note, all events will be taking place at the Grand Velas Los Cabos.

Question

What does all-inclusive mean?

Answer

Both properties are all-inclusive--this means the nightly rate covers the costs of unlimited access to all resort amenities, including (i) seven distinct gourmet restaurants, including two Michelin star restaurants by Chef Sidney Schutte, and (ii) six bars with unlimited premium cocktails/mocktails, wines, and beers. There are no up-charges or additional fees once you purchase your room. From the moment you step on property, you won't need to reach for your wallet. Adults are reminded to drink responsibly.

Question

In order to reserve my hotel room, do I need to pay in full now?

Answer

No. Guests need only pay a one (1) night deposit in order to secure their rooms. Upon booking, you will have the option to pay in full, or to arrange a payment schedule, with all payments due forty-five (45) days prior to check-in (October 22, 2026).

Question

What if I decide to stay off-property?

Answer

We recommend our guests secure their stay on property via our room block link. The resort is all inclusive and we would love to see your faces on property throughout the wedding weekend. :) If you are choosing to stay off property, below are a few options within short distance of the hotel. All-inclusive and standard resort options included. Note, we DO NOT have room blocks at the below mentioned locations. You are responsible for securing your rooms. - Mar Del Cabo (standard resort - adults only): www.mardelcabo.com - Dreams Los Cabos (all-inclusive resort - family friendly): https://www.hyattinclusivecollection.com/en/resorts-hotels/dreams/mexico/los-cabos-suites-golf-resort-spa/ - Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos (all-inclusive resort - family friendly): https://www.resortsbyhyatt.com/ziva-los-cabos *Note, if you stay off property, you will need to purchase a day pass for all event days on property. Please contact the Grand Velas Los Cabos directly for more details.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invitation for any +1 details!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

No. This is an unplugged ceremony--photos and the taking of video are strictly prohibited.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in any of the official wedding weekend events. We understand that some of you may still like to travel to Los Cabos and enjoy your free time with the kiddos. In this case, there are babysitting accommodations on the resort during official events. Please reach out to the resort directly for more details on how to secure those accommodations on your own. *Note, if you travel with your kids and are staying on property, you must stay at the Grand Velas Los Cabos. The Grand Velas Boutique does not allow children on property. See the travel page for more details.

Question

What is the weather like in October?

Answer

October is considered by many to be the best time of year to visit Cabo – because it's all about warm temps (in the water and outside) and sunny days. You'll find daily high temperatures averaging around 88 F (31 C) and rarely exceeding an average high of 95 F (35 C).

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We have set dress codes for each event, please refer to the itinerary. For the avoidance of doubt, please remember DO NOT wear white.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding is primarily outdoors.

Question

Do I need a passport to enter Mexico?

Answer

Yes, a passport is required to enter Mexico. We highly recommend using this opportunity to sign up for TSA Pre-Check, Global Entry, and Clear to the extent you do not already have memberships. Many major credit cards cover the cost of one or more of these memberships. At the end of the day, you don't want to miss your flight because you were taking your shoes off and getting pat down by TSA! https://www.tsa.gov/precheck https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/how-apply https://www.clearme.com/

Question

Do we need to book our own flights?

Answer

Yes, we recommend booking your own airfare to fit your desires and availability. Direct flights are offered from many major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. JetBlue operates daily direct flights from JFK. Delta operates weekly direct flights from JFK. United operates multiple direct flights per week from IAD. Many airlines operate direct flights from LAX.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We highly recommend that all guests book their stay on property as all events take place at Grand Velas Los Cabos. The couple will not be providing transportation to the venue; however, we have contracted with Tropical Incentives for discounted airport transfers. A link to book your own airport transfers can be found here: https://tropicalincentives-system.com/kendall&miles/index.php.

Question

Will there be any activities happening that I need to know about?

Answer
