We're getting married!

In this day and age of the internet, Alex and Kendall met on a dating app. We are the most grateful it led us to the absolute loves of our lives! Why do we live in two different states? Kendall had paid a trial run for the app and it was about to expire. With the paid version came some more premium features, you could travel to different cities within the app and not physically be there. Knowing her man was some where in the mountains, just not the ones in Colorado. Kendall had been to Bozeman before and really loved it, so she figured she would swipe there. A couple of swipes left and there he was, Alex Laasch, living in Missoula, Montana. His bio got her right away and she thought, "this might be the male version of myself!" That was actually her opening line to him. They talked on the app for a couple days then he smoothly gave her his number. They had their first "date" via FaceTime 9 days later that lasted 6 hours! He booked a ticket to Denver to come out and meet Kendall in person. It was like out of a movie when Kendall picked him up from the airport and saw his handsome face for the first time! They KNEW immediately they were destined to be together! Alex even brought Kendall gifts from Montana. He was so thoughtful and the most wonderful gentleman, and he thought she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. That weekend was the absolute best weekend of both of our lives! Now here we are today, planning our wedding together. I am the most thankful for you Alex and getting to share our lives together forever. Im so dang excited I get to marry the male version of myself! ;-D

I came out to visit Alex for the second time in February. I was so excited because he was taking me up to Whitefish to go snowboarding! I have never been to Whitefish but had heard so many things about it. He had such a beautiful, fun 2 weeks planned for us. Our first stay was at an incredible tree house, it was the coolest place. When I say Alex had everything planned out for us, he had EVERYTHING planned out. We made a fire the first night there and got ready for our first snowboard day! We had the best time together snowboarding. For Valentines day he had a horse drawn carriage in the snow with clydestales planned for us and dinner, talk about magical! It was such a gorgeous day! He then had planned a couple days at Quinns hot springs. We had the cutest cabin right on the water with a swing that looked out to the mountain and the food was so yummy. We were originally supposed to stay there for 3 nights but Alex asked me if I wanted to go night riding for his birthday. He said it was the mountains 75th anniversary and they would be doing a fire work show on the mountain! I was all in. I love snowboarding so much during the day, its such a neat experience to get to do it at night and with fireworks! Since Whitefish is 2 hours from the hot springs he told me we would just be staying the night in Whitefish. I was excited. Snowboarding for my mans birthday and at night? WONDERFUL! He told me to get ready for the night because he made dinner reservations for after we ride for his birthday. He thought of everything and I had no idea about anything. We get to the base and he said he will drop me off so he can find parking since it was busy. He tells me to grab a drink inside before we head up the mountain. I was so happy to night ride for his birthday. He meets up with me and we head out to the slopes. We went up the hill and skated to get our bindings on. He had me sit down with him for a little bit so we sat there talking, then we heard the fireworks going off! That was his que. We get up and start riding down. I loved getting to snowboard down with him and watch these fireworks. He gets down before me and is telling me to come his way. Behind him I see ski signs that say "KENDALL E, MARRY ME, LAASCH WAY" I was beside myself!! He got down on his knee and proposed!! He hired a photographer to capture the moment and it was such a special feeling for me that he would put so much thought and effort into planning a proposal on his birthday! Thats just who Alex is; he goes above and beyond for the ones he loves and I truly adore this man! Im so grateful to marry the man of my dreams and start this incredible life journey together! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Estes Park, Colorado!
