Let's Get Married!

We met at the very first medical school social event, and then quickly began spending more and more time together. Not only did we live in the same apartment complex, we were also randomly assigned the same anatomy lab group and Tulane learning community (both of which were groups of 5 people, out of our 200 person class!), and later the same 3rd-year rotation cohort. We have to give Tulane some credit here! We were very close friends all throughout medical school and always appreciated one another. It wasn't until the end of 4th year that our friendship started developing into something more. For those who don't know, the last few months of medical school are very light, leaving lots of opportunities for travel and fun activities with all of your friends! At this point we had established a weekly "happy hour club" and went on a friend cruise! Scott actually came home from his South America trip early in order to spend more time with Kendal before graduating and parting ways. Doing so required 40+ hours of travel time, but it was worth it because on graduation day, we finally became official!
