Due to capacity limitations of the venue’s ceremony area, this portion of the celebration is reserved for family. If you are invited to attend, you will receive a separate invitation with all the details. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with everyone at the reception immediately following the ceremony!
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so that our professional photographer can capture the moments without distraction. We will share all the beautiful photos with you afterward!
Our wedding will follow beach, cocktail attire dress code and aesthetic. Please see some descriptions below: Women: A semi-formal dress, such as a maxi or midi, or a jumpsuit or dressy separates. You can also wear a chic sundress or linen outfit. Vibrant colors and bold prints are acceptable, and you can finish your look with low heels, wedges, or dressy flats. Beachy accessories, like a raffia clutch, are also appropriate. Men: A classic long-sleeve button-down shirt and dressy pants. You can add a colorful blazer or patterned sport coat for a festive look. Ties are optional, but welcome. For shoes, you can wear nice loafers, on-theme boat shoes, or slip-on loafers. You can also wear socks to maximize comfort, but no-show socks may be better for a beachier look.
Due to the venue's size, we have carefully planned our guest list. If your invitation includes "and guest" or specifies your guest's name, you are welcome to bring a guest.
We love your little ones, but due to capacity and the venue being 21+, we are having an adults-only celebration.
Since many of our guests will need to make travel arrangements, we kindly ask that you RSVP by November 15, 2024. This will help us finalize details for catering, seating, and overall coordination. You can RSVP by using the “RSVP” tab on this website or by copying and pasting this link into your browser: zola.com/wedding/kenadyandjacob/rsvp.
We understand that things come up. If you need to change your RSVP status, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our plans accordingly.
We’ll have three petite plate stations featuring a variety of options to suit every palate. To ensure a great experience for all, please inform the carver at your chosen station of any dietary restrictions for necessary accommodations.
Yes, we will have an open bar available at the reception. Please enjoy responsibly, and plan for transportation if needed.
Due to the venue's location on upper King Street, there is no on-site parking available. We highly recommend using Uber for transportation to and from the venue. If you prefer to drive, metered street parking is available nearby, and the Visitor’s Center Parking Garage is also within close proximity.
The venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces for you to enjoy. However, please be prepared for weather conditions and bring appropriate attire if necessary – Charleston is known for its tropical, humid climate.
Our wedding will take place on King Street, the main street in Charleston, which offers a wide range of hotel options. However, for a more cost-effective stay, we recommend exploring Airbnb or VRBO accommodations. Please note that we have not arranged room blocks, so feel free to choose lodging that best suit your preferences and comfort.
The reception is scheduled to conclude promptly at 9:00 p.m. However, we hope you’ll join us to keep the party going on King Street!
