In November 2020, we matched on Hinge and after a couple of weeks, planned our first date. But then Governor Wolf shut the restaurants down again - creating even more headaches in an already crazy year for Tim! Tim texted Kelly, explained the situation, and we agreed to reschedule. Tim said he'd text Kelly in a few days when things calmed down....but that took a little longer than expected! Just about a year later, Tim messaged Kelly again on Hinge. Kelly instantly remembered Tim (how could she not?!), and was hesitant to respond at first. But thanks to some encouragement by her sister (thanks, Kate!) Kelly did respond, and then Tim responded, and so on...

Just about a week after we started talking again, we met for dinner at the Blue Bell Inn. We shared an appetizer of toast and conversation around our favorite bands, before Tim walked Kelly to her car. After a (very respectful!) first kiss, we went our separate ways. A few weeks later, we went to the Eagles v. Redskins game. It was a great night - we not only brought home a W, but also COVID! We both tested positive the day after Christmas (as did all of Kelly's family - sorry, guys!), so we decided to quarantine together. After 5 days of runny noses, no taste buds, lots of sleeping, and other COVID fun (i.e., Kelly's first time watching Die Hard and deciding it is NOT a Christmas movie), we found ourselves ringing in the New Year with dinner at home after Tim's last PJ's shift of 2021. It was then that we both realized: this was it. We had found each other (twice!) and knew that when we did, we had found our partner, best friend, ride-or-die, puppy co-parent, roomie, travel companion, concert buddy....in short: we had found the person we couldn't wait to share the rest of our lives with.

We spent the next 8 months traveling (with trips to Florida, Delaware, and Maryland), celebrating the weddings of our awesome friends (Brett & Amanda! Kaytlynn & Rob! Antonella & Brian! and Kyle & Alyssa!), cheering on our Flyers, Phillies & Eagles (and of course Rutgers, including a late-night March Madness game with Steve! a birthday tailgate for Timmy! and a bowl game with the DeLuca's - even though Rutgers didn't make a bowl game!), celebrating big milestones (congrats, Shane!), checking more bands off our bucket list (The Eagles, Counting Crows, and of course, Pearl Jam!), and sharing countless memories during kayaking trips down the Schuylkill River, wine clubs with great friends, running 5k's with Laura, Allanna, and Alexandra (Editor's Note: Tim runs 5k's - the only thing Kelly runs is a tab at the bar!), trivia nights with Matt & Jeff, and the best guest appearance by Katie Babe! (including one were Tim had to sing the Friends theme for Kelly to secure the win - thank you Lauren & Jill for capturing every second of that!), visiting our new besties (Grey, Ellie, Dante, and Aria), getting ready to welcome even more members to our family (we can't wait to meet you, Baby Boy Barowski!), and of course, adopting the cutest puppy ever, our Rudy!

And then, while on vacation with our family in St. Michael's, MD, we decided to take a photo down on the dock (before Kelly's hair got to frizzy!). Tim went to set up the phone's auto-timer, but as he walked back to Kelly, she noticed it was on the video setting. Kelly turned around to tell Tim the setting was wrong, and when she did, she found Tim down on one knee...with the box containing her mother's engagement ring inside. In between her sobs and constant yelling "What are you doing?!" Tim just smiled and said, "Kelly O'Malley - will you marry me?! After a few (hundred) more "What are you doings?!" and a LOT of tears, Kelly said yes. And here we are today...
