Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Kindly RSVP before August 15, 2024. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a 'no' as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline - you will be missed!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your invite.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate children due to the venue being an adult-only resort. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM, sharp. Please plan at least 30 minutes prior.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is Colorful Elegence Flair! We suggest wearing a linen suit and tie for gentlemen and long colorful cocktail dresses for ladies. Feel free to bring out your stylish flowy/colorful dresses and embrace the vibe. Here’s a style guide: https://pin.it/10xTCYnMo Please avoid jeans, t-shirts, or flip-flops. While it's not mandatory, you can also opt for black-tie attire if you prefer. *The bridal party will be wearing purple* Looking forward to celebrating in style!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes

Question

What if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We're sorry to hear that we'll miss you at our wedding. If we never got an RSVP by our deadline, our headcount is final. Hope we can celebrate with you another time soon!

Question

What will be the weather?

Answer

Although the weather can be unpredictable, we decided to get married in December to avoid the high rainy/humid season. Expect 80° and sun!

Question

What color are the wedding party wearing?

Answer

Purple

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Gifts are not expected since your presence is more than enough. However, if you would still like to gift us something, we kindly suggest that you consider contributing to our honeymoon fund instead, which can be conveniently done through this link: https://www.honeyfund.com/site/keat-nguyen-12-21-2024. Or have it be sent to the following address to spare you the inconvenience of transporting it: 7406 Hallmark Pl Springfield, VA 22150. Thank you in advance!

Question

How much cash should I bring? & Do I need to convert USD to Mexican Pesos?

Answer

Up to you! The resort is all inclusive so you will not have to pay for food or drink while on site. We do recommend tipping! Please make sure you have $1, $5, $10 handy. Nothing is worse than trying to tip and all you have is $20 bills. Since this is an all-inclusive resort, you will not necessarily need to convert your USD to pesos. All resorts accept USD. Again, if you would like to bring USD for tips, we recommend that you bring denominations such as $1, $5, $10. Feel free to bring pesos if you prefer.

Question

Do I have to stay at Secret Moxché

Answer

It is recommended but there is a day pass available for a fee to attend the wedding. Keep in mind you will have to provide your own transportation as well.

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to travel to Mexico or take a negative covid test before my return flight?

Answer

Mexico does not require proof of Covid-19 vaccination or proof of negative covid-19 test prior to arrival. For obvious reasons regarding health and safety, do not travel if you are not well, or test positive for COVID anytime around our wedding. Starting at 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, air passengers will not need to get tested and show the COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 prior to boarding a flight to the U.S.

Question

How far is the Cancun airport from the resort?

Answer

Plan for a 40 minute commute to Secrets Playa del Carmen. There potentially can be some traffic due to road expansion. Plan accordingly when you need to go back to the airport so you have enough time to check in and go through security.

For all the days along the way
