In the 7 years of Noah & Kayleigh's relationship, he had yet been able to catch Kayleigh off-guard with a surprise. Somehow she find outs everything! Noah really wanted to surprise Kayleigh, so, In the months leading up to Noah's birthday, he had begun brainstorming how he was going to propose. Quickly, he decided upon disguising the proposal as "birthday" plans in San Diego the weekend after his birthday. We got a late start on our drive down to San Diego so after hitting traffic we stopped at Birdrock, our favorite coffee shop. Noah made sure to make it seem like there were dinner plans at a fancy restaurant later so that Kayleigh would bring a dress to change into. Meanwhile, Noah's friends were setting the stage at a lookout spot in La Jolla where he would take Kayleigh to "watch sunset" before they went to dinner. On the other hand, the moms and Kayleigh's friends (now bridesmaids) were frantically decorating the house nearby for the surprise engagement party later that night. After hanging out and enjoying the view at Torrey Pines, Noah somehow was able to convince Kayleigh to change into her dress for "dinner" even though it was cold outside. Noah took Kayleigh to the lookout point to watch sunset, where Noah's friends were hiding in the bushes nearby ready to photograph the special moment and also make sure no strangers interrupted. Noah whipped out the box he'd been hiding in his pocket and proposed to Kayleigh with the beautiful La Jolla sunset as their backdrop. After popping the question, Noah brought Kayleigh to the airbnb where many of their closest family and friends were waiting for them, ready to celebrate! Throughout the entire planned proposal day, Kayleigh had no idea what was happening, and Noah had finally been able to surprise her, while including every detailed aspect of her dream engagement! After 7 years of waiting for this day, we are so incredibly excited to share our wedding day with all of you very soon!
