Finally We Say I Do!

Kayla and John have known of each other for many years and went to the same Middle School through High School. It wasn't until the summer before Senior year when they became Band Senior Partners (yes they were band Geeks), that they began talking. The first time they "hung out" was at the Senior/Freshman bonfire at the end of July. Neither one of them were planning on going to this event, but Kayla's mom convinced Kayla and John's friend convinced John to go. At the party, they hung out on the playground that was in the neighborhood. It was there that Kayla made the first move and began to "flirt" with John. From that night on, they were texting nonstop. They got to know eachother for the next couple months. It wasn't until September that John invited Kayla to his house for a bonfire at his neighbors. That night, John asked Kayla to be his girlfriend, (what a gentleman). For the next 4 years, Kayla and John went to college together at Kent State University. When Kayla graduated in 2017, they decided it was time to take their relationship to the next step. They went to a local jeweler with Kayla's Grandmother's Wedding set and got the middle diamond put into a new setting that Kayla picked out. They then took a vacation at the end of July to Florida, where John chose to propose; obviously Kayla said yes. 3 years later, they are ready to say I Do and become Mr. and Mrs. Douds and celebrate with their friends and family.
