We’re getting married!

Gabe & Katrina were best friends through high school. They had many classes & similar friends. You could often find Katrina copying off Gabe’s papers in class or see them together in the hallway. They were always one another’s person to talk to, to get through tough times, school projects or to co-pilot on a trip to taco bell. There were many fun memories on “The Hill” or at friends’ houses. As they went off to college, they tried to stay close. Gabe surprised Katrina at an away game in upstate New York, just to wave to her on the bench and say hey chief … it was good to see you. Every summer they’d try to reconnect by organizing a river trip, throwing a party or tailgate together at Bethel Woods with friends. They were always “Mom & Dad” when it came to “The Crombie Crew”. The Crombie Crew was a nickname that they were given by Katrina’s sister-in-law Jen. This friend group has a bond like no other and has always made getting together & reconnecting a priority. --> Gabe & Katrina ran into each other at a Bethel Woods concert after not seeing one other for many years. Things were much different this time. They decided to get a drink and catch up. That night they both knew their friendship was different than it was 10 years ago. Gabe & Katrina hung out for months, reconnected with old friends, and began a very happy journey. It became undeniable they were falling for one another. Over the last 3 years Gabe & Katrina have been inseparable. The happiness & pure joy they have together is tangible. They truly respect & enjoy being with each other. Exploring new places, going out to eat & drink, but most of all making amazing memories. They purchased their first home together in Wurtsboro, July of 2020. A beautiful home, ready for many years of memories. Gabe proposed on July 27, 2021 on Seneca Lake. They went out to dinner & headed down to the dock for a sunset night cap. She of course said yes & they celebrated their engagement with family the rest of the weekend!
